Swap the wheels to 18" and the cargo capacity goes to 2890 lb, presumably because of the tire size/load rating. 2016 F150 payload specs I agree, f150 would carry this no problem. I hauled a full sized camper on mine , and 4 people, water, propane, everything, from Oklahoma to California and up and down the coast, through mountains, all around Arizona and back home. All I added were Timbrens.I guarantee you I was hauling close to 4000 pounds. 1260 pounds is nothing. Edit / Knowing what I know now I wouldn't do it again lol. But I would haul this tiny camper in a heartbeat.Re: SuperspringsSee man, I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this email, I had to go see what you were talking about and ended up buying a set of Timbrens for my old 12 valve. :)Re: Wow!! Unloaded camper on it;s new, very own place.Thats nice. I see you already put up your mower and baler for the winter as well.Re: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photosEspecially when you consider that these campers been going through what we put them through for 40 years by numerous other owners in some cases lol. Then we put them to the test. Mine may be older than me. I dont really know if its a 68 or 69 or what. Its a C-11 is all I know.Re: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photosAnd yes they are the best. Im sitting here looking at mine out the window. Love that thing.Re: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photosOkay now I remember. I knew you were trying to help someone when it happened. Im confident you will have it fixed up good as new before long. Good luck man.Re: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photos 67avion wrote: Dave Pete, this Avion has been dumped into floodwaters, crashed into an overhanging porch, backed into a steel beam at a motel and now plowed through a covered parking area. And who can forget the time the doors locked, with the engine running, at a campground in Las Vegas? We fished through a crack in the door...actually some guys from Circus Circus fished through and unlocked the door. After about an hour. I almost had a nervous breakdown. I forgot, now how did it end up in the flood waters? I remember you were volunteering after some storm or something right? Helping feed people or something? But cant remember how the camper got off the truck. Its humbling and amazing. This TC is going to outlast us all. You can ride the train to GC, and have easy access to Sedona. If I ever move it will be to Williams Arizona. Love that town.Re: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photosThanks, I'm headed there to check it out.
