My wife asked if we were still going with the gas prices being what they are. I told her that it only adds a couple of hundred dollars to the trip. If I can't afford that, it is time to hand up the truck keys and sell the TT. Exactly.Re: Norcold fridge..green light blinking every ten seconds or soThere should be a model number on the fridge somewhere. Maybe on a sticker on the door. When you find that add it here and we will be able to help better.Re: ModificationsI'm just a weekend camper. When I'm camping I don't take clothing that is fancy and needs to hang up. I put shelves in the wardrobe and I love it. I can store a lot more folded clothing on the shelves when I would be able to hang up and it's easier.Re: RVing in 2022The last time fuel prices went up I freely took my little / used / paid for /, Travel Trailer out to the campgounds (That were mostly empty) and waved at all the campers/people that were staying at home because they could only afford the payments and not the gas to go anywhere. I may stay closer to home but, I have no plans to make any big changes. Extra bucks for gas it a drag but, not a deal breaker for me. I will cut back on something else first. For gods sake, I spend 150 bucks a month on satellite TV and hardly ever watch it ! I will find a cheaper way to get TV before I give up on camping.Re: can I tow on the ball wanderingbob wrote: Try pulling it , I have the same truck and trailer weight and have been pulling this trailer since 2014 . I do not use or need a WDH . That is the reason you buy a 3/4 ton truck . I have driven over 100K pulling this TT . TRY it , you might like it ! YesRe: Locking gas cap LouLawrence wrote: My current 2020 Jeep Cherokee doesn't even have a gas cap. Not sure what you do to overcome that problem! HaHa my 2021 F-150 doesn't have a cap either. But, it's to hard to put a hose into the tank to get gas out. In my area I'm more afraid of solen catalytic converters. The new truck is warrente and I'm afraid of modifying it to slow down the converter thieves.Re: Rising fuel, will it be any different this time?I could use a new TT . In the last couple of years a lot of new people bought RV's and the prices went way up. I can hope that with high gas prices and maybe some of those new people deciding that RV'ing was not for them that more affordable used once will come to market. But, hope is hope. It's not fact. I just have to wait and see.Re: Clear2o RV Water FilterI understand that some of you camp at private campgrounds all over the U.S. that are using untested /untreated well water. Around here in MN or Northern Iowa all public water supplies are tested and regulated good. No need to filter that water again. To each their own.Re: Some finally charged with catalytic converter theft Bipeflier wrote: The authorities also need to charge the scrap facility! No way they bought that many converters and not suspect stolen property! I agree. That is a big part of the problemRe: Missing catalytic converter eend wrote: We had a cat stolen last week off one of work trucks. It was off a F250 and that thing has 2 cats on it. It was going to cost $3200 Cnd plus install. So we just straight piped it. So we will have to live with the check engine light being on. Some places have inspections that you have to pass. (None in my area though) I think some of the newer vehicles will go into "Limp Home Mode" if you did that and then not run very good.
