Who worries about any succesive buyer? Your money, your likes, your coach. Go for it! Stands out in the RV world where every coach looks the same. FWIW: I like them.Re: ? Winnebago Air ConditionerOur former RV, a 35'Itasca Sunstar, had two 13,500 BTU roof a/c heat pumps. We NEVER had a heat issue not matter the outside temperature whether in the South Texas, Arizona or Georgia heat/humidity. I would keep both units on during the day and set at a comfortable 77 degrees. At night I would run only the bedroom a/c set at 73 degrees. We slept comfortably at night. Whether one or both ran they would cycle on and off per the thermostat setting. We always kept the windshield covered with an inexpensive sun shade. Our coach had MCI duo roller shades and thermopane windows. We kept the day sunscreen shades down. They did a credible job keeping the heat out while permitting the light in. Prior to owning the MH we owned a 35' fifth wheel with one a/c. That a/c struggled in the heat but kept us cool at night. Nothing like the two heat pumps in the motorhome.Re: Winnebago Electric Motorhome on a F-53 chassisWe are supposidly awash in sub $50 a a barrel oil right now. Gas here is $1.85. Have not checked current diesel price. Everything is rosy for RV business until, and it will, oil gets back up to $100 a barrel and more. I drive an American made hybrid mid-size sedan with great gas mileage. My next vehicle will be an EV. I do think that electrics will START to dominate the roads by 2030. I also think totally autonomous cars a many more years away.Re: where to look for info on small car 4-downWe towed a 2013 Ford C Max Hybrid. In addition to being very easy to hook up and tow it gets better than 40 mpg. For a single person or a couple it is excellent. Ford is discontinuing the C Max so dealers with new ones are making great deals. It is an automatic. Really was a great car for us. Towed it about 20,000 miles. Weights 3,300 lbs.Re: Norcold lawsuitGot my second check in the WinterRe: Drop Hitch recomendationsI towed a 2013 Ford C Max behind a 2013 35' Itasca gasser for at least 15,000 miles. My Blue Ox setup included a Blue Ox 10" drop. Absolutely no issues with hitch, drop or tow bar in all those miles.Re: Safe method of financial transaction at sale timeProbably not applicable to this transaction BUT: we met our buyer at their bank, approximately 1/2 way between our locations (about 60 miles or more). The bank did all the transactions to include DMV required paperwork. The keys and manuals were exchanged. We were given a certified check and went on our way. The RV stayed in our storage spot until the buyer was able to come and claim it. They then took it to an RV park near our home where I showed them how to hook up, etc. Next morning I went over there to show them how to unhook, hook up the toad, etc then they went their way and we ours.Re: How to Sell a Used Motor homeI used RVT and sold quickly in late 2016. Took lots of quality photos and gave a detailed description. Had a bunch of RV dealers offering me ridiculous lowball prices. Showed it to a few people but had a bunch of online lookers and email inquiries. I offered a test drive to those who came to see and gave them a chance behind the wheel. Offered to permit inspection. In the end the actual buyer declined the chance to bring their own inspector. Had our toad in the description and sold it along with the RV. Lots of extras too. Got very close to asking price. Consignment lots charge 10% for their service, or at least the big ones do.Re: Dinghy towing a 2017 Ford Focus SE HybridI just read the online third edition 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid owner's manual as it pertains to towing behind an RV, four wheels down. The manual on page 223 seems very clear as to the steps you need to take to prepare the car to be towed. It also appears the car has a setting for "Neutral Towing". Perhaps you should Google "2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid Owner's Manual" and look at the third edition version of the manual?Re: Experiences with Motorhomes of TexasUnless things have changed an RV dealer is only required to service those coaches under factory warranty that it has sold. This means if you buy from, say a dealer in TX, a dealer of the same brand in Colorado is not obligated to do the warranty work. Some years back we bought a fifth wheel from an Internet dealer in Ohio. The first couple of dealers of this same manufacturer refused warranty service. Eventually I found a very reputable local dealer to do the work but it was somewhat of a hassle.
