They are worn out. It has rotated the pinion angle down, and the left side sits about 3/4 inch lower than the right. I need new springs anyway, I think I'll upgrade to the HD pack.Re: F350 Dually, anyone upgrade to F450 springs? jaycocreek wrote: I've actually upgraded the camper, thus the upgrade to the Dually. I now have a 2009 Adventurer 650B. It's at least 500, maybe 1000 lb heavier than my old Lance. I have to ask,I can't seem to find a 650B in a google search....What is it? Adventurer makes good truck campers, infact the 89RBS is on my short list for my next truck camper. Whoops! 950B. 9.5 foot slide unit with double bunks in the slide. Rear kitchen. It's our favorite floor plan I've found, as I have two small kids.Re: F350 Dually, anyone upgrade to F450 springs? jaycocreek wrote: You basically have the same TC I do...I have air bags on mine that came with the truck when I bought it..If I had had the option of air bags or extra springs,I would go with the extra springs instead..Having said that,my f-350 DRW handles that TC loaded extra heavy very well.. IMHO adding springs trumps air bags.. Thanks for the info. I've actually upgraded the camper, thus the upgrade to the Dually. I now have a 2009 Adventurer 650B. It's rides fine unloaded, but I don't mind a rough ride when unloaded, I only drive it to haul stuff, and most of it's miles are loaded with the camper and towing a Jeep on a trailer.Re: F350 Dually, anyone upgrade to F450 springs? I don't think that I would want stiffer springs in my 3500. While it does ride reasonably when loaded. Empty, it rides like a buckboard and it is also my daily driver. I hope your Ford rides better :) Are you talking about the truck in your sig that has 22.5s? :D Likely not your springs that rides harsh?F350 Dually, anyone upgrade to F450 springs? The rear springs are pretty saggy on my F350. 2005 Dually. It's used with 125k miles on it, must have had a good life towing a 5th wheel. It has a rear driveline vibration because of it. I'm going to be buying new rear springs, the spring shop says they have a set of rear springs that are rated at 4500 lbs each, versus the stockers at around 3500 each. Should give around a 1 inch lift in the rear. Anyone upgrade the rear springs on their Ford? Thanks for any experience.Re: Happyjac slide out, normal operation? markowwes wrote: I have the Happy Jack system in my Okanagan, The first time I slid the fridge side out I thought it was going to fall on the ground LOL have had it for 15 years now with no problems, the one on the Dinette side piled up a couple times but ya I’d say that’s normal. Wes Really? Good to know, thanks. It tilts like 2 or 3 inches down before it comes in, doesn't seem like it should be normal...Re: Happyjac slide out, normal operation? The camper is in the truck bed and level. I wish it was that easy. :DHappyjac slide out, normal operation?I have a new to me 2009 Adventurer 950B, and it has an above floor slideout with two bunks in it. The bottom rails are at the dinette bench level. The slide appears to be a Happijac/Lippert brand. I'm new to slide so I'm not sure if it's normal operation, but when the slide is out it's flush with the wall, and is supported well. But when powering in, the top appears to stick and it tilts the slide, and the rails come up some. The bottom will come in a couple inches before the top releases, then it come up at a slight angle and then comes in nicely. Is this sagging/tilting down when coming in normal? Thanks for the help.Re: Slideout wall fail Lance 1121Looks great, nice fix.
