They come with replaceable wear pads. Makes the truck more flexible off the flat road. Back to regular programming. I have an old diy flatbed made out of a tandem travel trailer chassis. It has slipper springs and equalizer, everything greaseable. It rides really nice, loaded or not.Re: Damaged 5er hitch by backing too hardI set the trailer height so there is a slight teeny bit of ramp up to avoid high hitching. I never lift an RV trailer ramping it with the truck. I take my time in and out of the cab as needed. They are too flimsy. RoyF ‘s experience is good advice.
