Schwintek slide lube?
to those with the schwintek slide what do you use for lube? I lubed the gear and rack under 2 of my slides with protect all dry lube. This stuff seems a little messy to be spraying on the bright colored racks on the sides of the schwintek slide. The gear and rack electric slides are on the underside and out of sight. Just purchased a new Everstart Maxx 24DC battery for my crusader 295. It has a 3/15 sticker so it is a fresh battery. I placed it on workbench when I got home and checked voltage. It read 12.5 volts. I put a commercial charger on it and charged for 90 minutes. Charger set at 40 amp setting. After this charge the battery checked 13.3 volts. I will recheck in the morning after it sits overnight. Hello, My 2014 crusader 295 model came with a Interstate battery that is I believe maintenance free. I recently pried the caps off and fluid level was below plates. I filled to ring level and charged with commercial charger and got over 13 volts. Now fast forward about 3 months and with a battery minder attached ( unattached while checking voltage ) I am only showing 11.4 volts. I placed a wingman on my wineguard sensor 3 antenna and it seemed to help bring in more stations. Then I put antenna in travel position and the wingman would hit front AC before it was completely lowered. I use a trailer aid on my double axle. I needed to lay down a short piece of 2x10 and then place the trailer aid on top of the 2x10. Worked well for me and very easy to do. Have only had one flat. This was on second trip with a new trailer with Towmaster tires. About 350 miles towed. I have since replaced all tires with B.F. Goodrich. Dave333Views0likes0Comments
