Install went smoothly besides the old gas line for the propane/electric fridge. I plugged it with a makeshift plug for a temporary fix while trying to figure it out, but it has now developed a small leak. I’m more than likely going to have to braze a cap on it. Before I do that I would love to know if there is a shutoff on the main gas line for each gas run appliance? I know that is code for houses, but not sure on campers. If somebody could give me some insight I’d greatly appreciate it!Re: Bad smell when running heatOne more question- is the ductwork mostly on the inside of the trailer or underneath on the outside typically? There’s an access under my oven but other than that and the obvious vents in the floor, I’m not too keen on the location of things. Thanks!Re: Bad smell when running heatThanks everyone! I’m going to give it a shot this week my next off day from work. Hopefully that does the trick!Bad smell when running heatHello All, My fiancée and I just moved into our travel trailer for full time use. It is a 2016 forest river Cherokee limited 33’. When running the heat we are experiencing an awful smell. The best way my fiancée has found to describe it is “old farts” (LOL). We’ve been running the heat for about a week and a half now and it has not gone away. It’s not a gas leak because we had one (now resolved) and it’s a different smell. Could I possibly need to clean out the ductwork or service the furnace? Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I’m new to the camper world and am not sure how everything works. Thank you in advance!
