I have a brita to take out any taste :) Bottled water is great but space is a premium and the tank is already there.3 pin plug umbilical cordI was able to get my tie downs straight thanks to everyone. Now I found a new thing. My Old camper plugged into the truck. I thought this one did not. But then I found a small round outlet with 3 pins. I have searched everywhere and cannot find a cord to plug Into my truck. Has anyone used a 3 pin plug and adapter to 7 pin?Re: Tie down points?Where do you put the S hook. I have HappiJac jacks and unless I take them off I don’t have a hole to go throughRe: Tie down points? There is nothing there. I don’t even see holes where they were removed. I like the idea of removing a bolt from the jack and hooking there. Maybe I can mount a I bolt there.Tie down points?I picked up a pop up truck camper and it only has tie downs mounted on the rear. Does anyone use the jack brackets? If so do you do it by keeping the jacks on the camper? I put in some stake pocket mounts for the camper since it is light but may go to a differ t mounting option. I had Torklift on my old truck but think they are overkill for a 1200 pound camper.Re: Changed trucks to a Ram 1500The dry weight of the camper is 6320 I may end up just at max payload when I am loaded but do not expect to be over 1000 for loaded pin weight.Changed trucks to a Ram 1500I went a few years newer and got 2003 4X4. Now I need to get the truck set up for the camper. I am thinking airbags and new Bilstien shocks. The tires are rated at over 2400 pounds each which is over the axle rating of 3900. What are the best changes anyone has made to a 1500/150 for towing? The pin weight of the fifth wheel is 884.Re: Axels seem off?So I should take off the axles and put on axels ?? :)Re: Axels seem off? Thanks. That is probably it is was pulling back bad forth to get inot a spot. I wonder why the search feature on the forum never gives me many results.Axels seem off?I have a double axel and when you look at the tires one looks angled different than the other at times. Is this because they are on leaf springs or is it a problem. The springs and axels all look good when I check underneath.
