Even if you have to wait a hour or more, it is well worth it, and the most important thing you can do. The fact is many people's story changes after the accident. And a police reports that establishes liability will eliminate many sleepless nights. Unfortunately our Metro police here in Las Vegas in their infinite wisdom has announced they no longer will report to non-injury accidents here. However, if you're lucky enough to have had an accident on a state highway, highway patrol will still come.Re: Social Security question/ help please if you knowSorry, but now I see my error. You say the 76 % increase is on the reduced amount. (Reading comprehension was not my strong suit in school...)Re: Social Security question/ help please if you know 3 dog nights wrote: Just watched an "Expert" tell me about the pitfalls of drawing early. He said at 62 I get a 25% penalty and that if I wait till 70 I would actually draw 76% more than at 62. I ran some basic numbers to make it easy. Assuming I live to 80, not unreasonable based on my family history. And for the sake of math, using $100 as my benefit at 62. 100 x 12(months) x 18(years)= $21,600 176 x 12(months) x 10(years)= $21,120 Why should I wait?..... He had no answer, just kept running the numbers over and over. Okay, but shouldn't your starting number for early SS withdrawal be $75 and not $100? (Based on your statement that there will be a 25% reduction for drawing SS early). Maybe I'm not following you, though.Re: Combination lock on a slam latch? There IS a real theft danger here if you're storing your trailer at a storage facility. I speak from experience. Our 5th wheel was broken into not once, but twice. Thankfully after the first time and having to replace the flat-screen TV, we learned not to store anything of value in it. After the second break-in at the same facility, my DH installed crossbars on all storage compartments as well as padlocked the front door, all with combination locks. Not aesthetically pleasing to look at, but does the job. The OP's concerns are not unreasonable here. Also, we now live in a home where we have property large enough to store the trailer ourselves. Definitely a factor in our home purchase too. (And I can camp at home!)Re: Pullrite super glide hitch, looking for bed pinsThanks, all, for your input-- especially you, Banjo, for getting these out to us. Got the tracking number on your message. Much appreciated!Pullrite super glide hitch, looking for bed pinsWe've lost the pins for our glide hitch that secure the hitch to the truck bed. Pullrite only sells them as part of the mounting kit, from what we can tell. Anyone have any ideas? TIA.Re: Best polish for gel cap and sides of 5th WheelI ended up going with a sealer made by ZEP which is the floor polish, and, boy, am I glad I did! What a great result. My 5th wheel now looks brand-new and it was truly worth the effort. Since we've never waxed, no stripping needed and decided the sealer was the way to go. FWIW, Zep floor polisher is sold at Home Depo for around 25 bucks and after 4 coats I didn't even use half of th jug. Thanks, all, for the advise. This a great resource.Best polish for gel cap and sides of 5th WheelI'd like to hear what's recommended for polishing my 5th wheel. I tried a spray application and liquid application, but the results were less than what I'd want. It still left streaks on the gel cap and the sides weren't as shiny as I'd expect. What can you recommend? Thanks.Re: Your RigHi, all: I thought I'd add a few pics of our new '06 Wildcat that arrived this past Christmas. It's a little guy, 25'9", so we can fit into those skinny, short spaces. Here's a few pics while at our favorite winter spot here near Las Vegas, Valley of Fire State Park:
