Spring time came and while getting the mower ready I checked the Irish Spring and of the 2 bars 1 was completly gone, execpt the wrapper, and the other was about 1/4 gone, so I thing that I fed them instead of chase them off. Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: Lance 815 TC.Hello Old Days. If I remenber correctly the 815 is a non-self contained TC meaning no waste or fresh water tanks and no toilet but if you go to Lance website and click on support they have all the manuals for viewing. Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: Check your water heater anode! While talking with Atwood some years back they informed my that if an Atwood WH was using an anode rod and required warrantee service, Atwood would not honor the warrantee. Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: Could I get a charging system explanation please?Hello fellow campers. Lance campers have a battery isolator that is between the truck and camper that will disconnect the charge wire if the truck battery falls below a specific voltage. On my 08 1055 it is located inside the stepup to the overhead bed. If this doesn't work properly and things are on in the camper it will also drain the truck battery. Lance has been using these isolators for several years. Happy camping nm1oqrzNew Air ConditionerHello. Need to replace my Coleman 9200 btu. I have heard that the new units are very noisy. Anyone have any experience with the new ones and are there other brands that are quieter? Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: Outftter Caribou repairs/refirbish 99.7% done !Hello OBXcamper. Just a suggestion on the use of stainless hardware. Screws are usually not a problem as they don't have much stress on them. Jack bolts are another matter as a stainless bolt has a strength about equal to a grade 2 common steel bolt. So if your jack hardware are common bolts your good, but if they were grade 5 or up like mine (grade 5) when the stainless is a weaker bolt, won't rust but weaker. Just keep this in mind. Minimal cost. Re: Fridge cooling fan modHello all. On my airstream TT, being it has a curved side wall, the coils at the bottom are almost 6 inches away from the wall at the bottom input vent and about an inch or so at the top roof vent. I did what Enochlight suggested about 15 years ago after talking to a dometic service rep. The alum sheet was bent at about a 45 degree angle upwards and was in far enough to be about 1 inch from the coils and was attached to the inside wall at the upper edge of the lower vent. Even without a fan that made a world of difference. Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: Stripped ThreadsHello. I always use a golf tee in the stripped hole. Much harder that toothpicks or match sticks. Glue it in, cut it flush, drill a pilot hole and the screw now is going into a nice piece of hardwood. Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: Trouble with electrical systemHello. If that was my inverter and smoke rolled out of it, it would be out of service until I found out the part that caused the smoke. Inverters don't usually smoke unless something failed. Happy camping nm1oqrzRe: 1996 Lance legend 945 help please.Hello Trouncer. I checked on the Lance web site and the first year that Lance started to include schematics in the manuals was 2006. I looked at the 2006 and there was a schematic that you could look at and possibly get some idea of what to do. Just go to the Lance home page and click on support. The manuals will be listed by date and TT or TC. Good luck. Happy camping nm1oqrz Trouncer wrote: I recently purchased a used 1996 lance legend 945 camper. The previous owner wall papered the inside which is fine, however he removed things to install the paper. One of the items he removed is the systems monitor. I need to reinstall it and have no idea where which wires go where. I emailed Lance for a wiring diagram but they replied back saying they do not have that info going that for back. Seems odd to me. So I'm asking if someone that has one of these could shoot a photo of the back side of the monitor showing where the wires are plugged into I would be most grateful. Thank you in advance.
