Yeah, I got the Road Hazard warranty, net cost to me Free, Zero, Nada, nothing. When you shop for tires use your head. Second rule I have, try to buy USA made tires whenever possible.Re: Truck remote start and TC battery chargingIf you can't make it through the night on one battery, it would seem simpler just to add another battery with a switch over?Re: Route Chicago to St Augustine Dave H M wrote: It may make a difference on where you call northern FL. I get off of 65 at Montgomery and run 231 all the way to the gulf, that being my destination is just east of Panama City. If he goes that route he misses Atlanta traffic :B and it would be nice to bypass Nashville to. When he gets to Florida just take 10 over to St. Augustine .Re: Short in house wiringOnce again get a "real" electrician, if the GFI trips with nothing else connected and how do you know? I have a little device that plugs into an outlet and in this case you would have to bypass that gfi by installing a standard one, and reconnect all the disconnected ones. Now I can ID everything on that circuit by the tone with the other part of the tester. Saves disconnecting. You might very well find what have disconnected are not, and those wires go to something else. Usually in those days 1999, only bathrooms, kitchens and outside outlets needed to be gfi protected.Re: Us getting Older, and dogs crossing Rainbow BridgeNo one unless they are a dog owner how hard it is to lose a furry friend. I've lost two in the past 20 years. Our black lab was the hardest one to say good by to. I am sorry for your loss, all dogs go to heaven And they are waiting for us.Re: Short in house wiringDid you try a new GFI? Do that first and don't buy the cheap POS ones! They work on milliamps. measures the current going out on the hot wire vs coming back on the neutral. So a little moisture on the black or hot wire would cause that leakage. Call a "real" electrician, not a low voltage RV tech. The GFI measures that leakage down stream from the outlet, so running new power from the CB panel will do diddly.Re: Carrying spare bearing question Lynnmor wrote: wmgeorge wrote: Good luck finding a bearing not made in China, Timken how do you know? The Chinese CAN make good quality anything. The people who order and import choose. FYI are you aware either complete or parts of MRI machines are made in China whatever the supplier wants to pay. A old line US company no less. Since my Timken bearings have USA etched right on them, my guess is they are not made in a country noted for making cheap junk. After inspecting and measuring dimensions and angles on the junk bearings, I decided to go with a proven brand. I am glad you found a Timken bearing made in USA wish they all were, but they also have plants in India, China and who else knows where. They are a Global industry just like GM and John Deere. ****.Re: Carrying spare bearing questionGood luck finding a bearing not made in China, Timken how do you know? Good luck finding a wheel bearing on some sections of the Alaskan Highway or even in Wyoming.Re: Buying a Travel Trailer with BitconThe issue with Bitcoin is there is no county, no bank did I say Nothing backing it up. Yup should have purchased back when it was $800 US. But its like a house built of cards, one sneeze and its all over.
