We stayed in a 35' Motorhome towing a 6x10 enclosed trailer. Walk across the street to the mine. Not much else in the area. They inner tube down the creek at the campground.Re: Winnebago Vista 35FHi I owned a 2011 37F for 3 years trading in for an Adventurer 37F. Loved the floor plan bath and a half is very useful. Once you have it you'll understand. The unit was comfortable and reliable. The biggest negative for us the sectional sofa as a bed. It was to bumpy (not flat enough) Once side higher than the other. Something you might not be aware off. Added a trk-l-start to keep engine battery charged when connected to shore power also added struts to hold open baggage doors. Swapped single stage charger for 4 stage. Please be careful of the living room tv. It is easy to bump into and break. Happened to us in the first month. I have a nice screen protector I'll sell cheap. Over all a really good unit. Bill&KarenRe: GPSUpdate! I attempted to update the software for a second time and this time it worked like a charm. First it asked me to register then recognized that there were updates available both base code and maps. These updates were a huge improvement. I now have a spell button in the Campground listing and a List button when entering a City and Henderson, town of, NY is listed. Why Rand tech support didn't suggest that an update would fix my issue or even ask what version I was on I don't know. Neither the email response nor the live person indicated that might be the case. At any rate I wanted to repost to let others know. It does have some nice features I will say, verbal speed warnings, Lets you choose between 2 different routes when it calculates and the ability to plan a route on the Good Sam website and download that trip plan to the GPS. I believe GPS units are like cars some love Fords and Some love GM. To each his own.Re: GPSWe have a 2014 Winnebago 37F with the built-in GPS from Rand/Good Sam. This is a horrible GPS. It does not have the same software as the portable units from Rand/Good Sam. First searching on Henderson, NY does not return the location. I contacted Rand and was told "Henderson is not a City" you have to search on "Henderson, town of, NY" Really???? Google, Mapquest, Yahoo, WeatherUnderground, and my Garmin locate it no problem. Tech support told me we're not Google they "compensate for town, city". Also when I went to locate the KOA near Henderson, NY I could not sort the campground list by KOA. Tech support told me to use the "Spell" button. Well in the built in unit the Spell button is not present. I was told not all "features" are available in the built in unit like the portables. A "Spell" button is a feature? The support person offered to walk me thru using the GPS within it's limited features. I have not taken them up on that offer yet. I am glad I did not pay for this feature in the motorhome it was included on the unit. I have the Garmin dezl 760LMT and it is far superior to the Good Sam product. When I mentioned this to the tech support person he hung up on me. I have used the Garmin for over a year in our last motorhome and also in our car. It's not perfect but head to head with the Rand/GoodSam it wins hands down.Re: Loudon, NH nascarI highly recommend Speedway Sportspark. Stayed with them 2 times. Most recently last July.Great people. Reserved gravel spots. No hookups. You can see the track and walk to it. They have free hot showers (not fancy). Last year every morning we had a newspaper delivered to our site. They had coffee going all the time. Saturday night they had a live band. After the race free hot dogs. Pump out service, ice delivery. The owners are Very customer orientated. http://speedwaysportspark.com/ Camped in a Winniebago 35' motorhome.
