When renewal time came up they quoted $800 more a year with no claims or moving violations to point to. Credit score stayed the same also. I shopped around and ended up with National General, aka Good Sam. They were a couple hundred cheaper than my first year with Safeco. I still use safeco for my auto and motorcycle.Re: Base plate questionNot my jeep. A buddy coming on the trip has the jeep.Re: Base plate question houstonstroker wrote: ACDNate wrote: So what's my cheapest route on tow bar? I don't have a vehicle setup to tow myself so o dont want to drop $1k OB a tow bar I may only use once. I found my tow bar on Craigslist. You also need safety cables, a light cable, a braking system for the jeep and a breakaway cable. None of it is cheap. Jeep has a light connection in place. I have a brake buddy to borrow. Think I'll be able to bring the jeep fairly cheap to try it outRe: Can I use a WDH on a DP tropical36 wrote: I've often asked the same question, but have never heard from anybody using one and giving the actual weight transfer. It's gotta do something towards that goal, so the question is how much. It would take a good bit of time at a scale to get weights. Only thing I know is w/o the WDH on my truck the rear was close to bottomed out and the front was rising 2.5". With the WDH setup the rear only dropped 1" and front only raised 0.75".Re: Base plate questionSo what's my cheapest route on tow bar? Trying to figure out what kind of tow bar i need to pull it with. It has the connection points for the tow bar on the front of the jeep. We looked at it and can't find any kind of manufacturers info on the connection point. Are the base plates pretty standard across the board? Or could this be some kind of proprietary system? What kind of tow bar do i need? Thanks, NateRe: Can I use a WDH on a DPI'm not sure I understand why, those of you who said so, you don't think a wdh will help. I've used a wdh with a trailer behind my truck and it significantly lightened the load on the rear end of the truck and put some weight back to the front axle. Why would it not have the same affect here?Re: 2001 Itasca HORIZON 36LD 14,000 mIlesFireUp. Air dryer attention? I have a 2008 Journey Cummins 350. They aren't quite as bright as the halogen but not significantly enough for most to notice. No flickering or any other issues.
