I don't get to worked up if a camper walks thru my site, I realize it isn't polite but it is a opportunity to say hi and maybe make a new friend. I don't get possessive of my campsite because I'm there for a short period of time. It bothers me worse if someone is extra loud after 10 p.m. I'm not going to let little things ruin my vacation, that time belongs to me, so expect a big hello as you walk thru, I realize you do not have camp manners. I like to think about is the cost worth it to run the generator to cool my coach while traveling. If the generator uses 1 gallon per hour it will cost about $3:00 pr. hr. to drive in comfort. It will cost more for miles driven that day. If your coach gets 8 miles per gallon and you drive 3oo miles that day in 5 hours you would use 37.5 gallons of fuel for the coach and 5 gallons for the air for a ttl of42.5 gallons at a cost of $127.50. $15.00 of that was for the air. The cost per mile for air was a whole 5 cents pr mile. Your coach engine cost 37.5 cents per mile. Cost per mile was affected that day by 5 cents per mile for using the air. I use my gen. when running down the road. It is the best way to keep your coach cool in the summer. The amount of fuel you use is dependent on the gen size. I have a Dp 2002 Dutch star and it is more than reasonable for fuel on running air conditioner plus I run the fridge as well. Ray145Views0likes0CommentsCamping Word got me
Camping World got me, I ordered a Magellan GPS refurbished unit that was on sale in a camping World. It arrived with the wrong wall charger and the 12 volt was such a poor quality it would not stay attached to the screen. The customer service No.# for Magellan is no longer in service. I called Camping World, they would not could not replace the chargers as the are a agent to sell the units not the manufacturer. New one for me.
