My ball type 5th wheel is frame mounted under my flat bed. Open the hatch and flip the ball up so no way to change that. I also use this truck for my farm hauling the livestock trailer. My next truck will have the regular 5th wheel setup with the airride hitch. Few years away when we can travel more. Tied to the farm right now until my daughter gets out of college and can run things. As one commenter said I have already been down the egr/oil cooler and injector route. Thankfully I have the Good Sam extended warranty, They hate me I am sure. But I bought and had the truck custom built for me new so I know it inside and out. Plan on running it until it won't go anymore. Again Thanks for the tips!!Jerky bounce over bumps, 2005 F350 dieselHi All, I have a 2005 F350 extended cab diesel towing a 12k+ 38' 5th wheel ball style Cougar 330RBK. When going over bumps the truck has like a jerky bounce. Just put new Sailun tires on which did help but I am not sure if the issue is on the truck side or caused by the trailer. Being an extended cab I am thinking it's the front end bouncing but obviously can't try to watch and drive at the same time. It can't be good for the truck or hitch. Any ideas what might help take care of it? Mikenew Sailun tiresHi All, Back a month and a half ago I asked about tires after we had a 4 year old Towmax (Blowmax) do a ton of damage to our unit. Most of you advocated for the Sailun S637 (which in this years model of our unit keystone puts on them). Did a bunch of research and calling around to find locally the tires were really expensive and only sold by commercial truck suppliers. Got on SimpleTire and found them much less expensive, almost half the price. Some of you expressed concern that they sell old tires but I am writing to say the 235/80R16's I got were April this year so I am very pleased. They delivered very quickly and I am very impressed with the tire. I've driven and owned commercial trucks most of life and these tires are everything you all talked them up to be and more. Looking forward to going on a trip with them this next weekend. They look much more stout with very little squat so hopefully my near 40' trailer isn't all over the place anymore. Thanks for the tips folks!! By the way, finding the rim rating was easy once I found they were made by SenDel (stamped on the back of the rim), they have all the info on their website.Good Year Endurance TiresI need to replace my bad 235/80r16 "Blowmax" tires. Had one blow out doing $4500 damage to the camper. My rims are not rated for the 110 PSI of the Sailun so been looking and it seems many of you like the new Endurance ST tires. Can we get a few reviews and mileages plus trailer weights you've tested them with. My 330RBK has a GVWR of 12,265 lbs. MikeRe: bad tires , best replacement 235/80r16Hey JIMNLIN, Looking at the tag on the trail it would appear I have the 6k axles. If I had the $$ I would upgrade to the 7K since I feel Keystone put to light of an axle on this rig. I am sure these aluminum rims are not rated for the 110 PSI so what is my best 80 PSI tire.Re: bad tires , best replacement 235/80r16Thanks for all the comments!! I probably should have put on the original post that these were the tires the manufacturer sent it off the line with. And I am also a truck driver so very familiar with some of the info folks describe. With the trailer, particularly camper, tires being much different I am not sure of the better produces out there. Going to a "G" tire makes the most sense. I always thought that Good Year Marathons were good until I found a ton of complaints for failures on them too.bad tires , best replacement 235/80r16Hello All, I am sure this has been asked 100 times but I am new to this forum and search did not find what I need. I have a 2012 nearly 40' Keystone 5th wheel that is about 10-11k dry. This past weekend we had a blow out on the right rear causing several thousand dollars damage. The tire had a cord failure even at proper pressure and such. The current tires are Power King Towmax STR 235/80R16 load range E's. Looking them up it appears many people have had the same failure. Anyway long story short what have you found to be the best tires out there with the least failures. I am going to change them all based on what I have read with failures of them. Mike
