We've stayed at the Thousand Trails in Las Vegas several times. A little cramped. Go slow and it's fine. It's near Sam's Town. We've enjoyed watching the private jets coming and going.
Really it's personal preference but after researching the performance and reliability I chose the Duramax with the Allison transmission. Pulls our 30 foot 5th wheel over the continental divide in cruise control and almost lulls me to sleep.
