My wife and I have a Jayco Feather Select parked in a campground with full hookups. Our refrigerator is running on LP gas, for some reason. There's an automatic setting, but it's still using LP. Anyone have any ideas about this?Re: What size truck? Thanks a lot! What size truck? How do you determine whether you'd need a Ram 2500, for example, or a 3500? Is there a weight cutoff for the 2500?Re: Tiffin red 33aa vs thor aria 3601I wouldn't touch a Thor with a ten foot pole. Tiffin all the way. You don't want to wind up like this poor man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWw904saLGARe: RV show bluesWe just returned from our 175 mile trip to the Chattanooga RV show. What a disappointment, unless you're in the market for a fifth wheel or TT. We're in the market for a Class A, and they had, if memory serves, about 5 total, three of them being the junk Thors. Complete bust.Re: Domicile: Texas vs. Florida tropical36 wrote: Sonny54 wrote: We're looking at domicile options. Florida of course and we would like it better, if you'd pay here and lived somewhere else, as we could always use the money and have over 20M residents, eating up the amenities, as it is.... :) Hahaha. Well, no worries, the domicile is for "show only," as it were, and since we will use Escapees, it looks like Florida will beat Texas. Our current home base is Alabama, but I used to live in Jacksonville, and went to college in Lakeland. I expect we'll do some time in Florida, if only to check the mail, but no, we're not staying long term. (Unless we hear you're baking a cake or something...)Re: Domicile: Texas vs. FloridaI've heard (though I do not know the details) that SD is problematic because of health insurance issues.Domicile: Texas vs. FloridaWe're looking at domicile options. Anyone know which Class A's have them? Thanks! You didn't say whether gas or diesel and especially for having the diesel in the rear. If a gas puller is your preference, then my choice would be with the Newmar Canyon Star that they make in a 37ft. You may have to go with a 2013 or newer, however, as I'm not all that sure if this model was made before that year or not. If you're after a DP, then that's another story, that can make for a long discussion. Well, we're newbies, looking to hopefully hit the road sometime this year. It's our first RV, so we don't want to go above 50K on our first purchase, which means it will likel be gas
