You sound like a bucket of fun… Anyone with a smartphone can find riding spots. Get over it. “Secret” spots don’t exist anymore.Re: AC on or off?Never heard of people doing this. Seems borderline insane to run AC on a non-occupied RV. I guess all the insects and rodents will at least be comfortable. ?? To each their own I guess…Re: Fifth Wheel or TT?Keep your 5er to a reasonable length and its no harder than a TT getting into places. Moved from a WW 21ft Superlite to an Attitude 28SAG (31ft) 5er several years ago. Only challenge I had was dealing with the extra height and tree limbs. Other than that cant thing of anything I gave up to move to the 5er.Re: Fifth Wheel or TT? mleekamp wrote: valhalla360 wrote: Tom/Barb wrote: Motorhome, tow the toys Yeah but then you don't have a street legal vehicle (at least in most places). You could drive the Motorhome, tow a pick up, with golf cart in bed. Thats borderline Beverly Hillybilly…Re: Mystery Battery Draw While Parked UPDATEHave been dealing with similar problem on my 2012 Duramax. Every morning I get a weak start and batteries are ~12v. It doesnt matter if the truck sits one night or multiple nights it will not continue to drain. Its like it hits a cutoff voltage of around 12v and stops draining. Have replaced batteries and just last week the alternator. Problem is still there. I have not added any accessories to my truck. Its basically bone stock.Re: E-bike transportationBikes get gently laid on their sides on top of dog beds, sleeping bags, or any other somewhat soft items. Keep it simple…. No fancy racks or tie downs that require an engineering degree.Re: WASH WAX ALL ON FIVER; TIPS?You can wax a front cap monthly and it will still fade over time. Because most people don’t subscribe to your “ it’s cheaper in the long run to buy a new truck every couple years” plan. I think this idea may work for the perpetual truck payment people. After making payments for a couple years, start over, new truck, same payment?? Not sure though...never had a truck payment, or full coverage insurance on any of my 10 new truck purchases. For me, money saved on interest/insurance, like getting one truck free! :) Like mentioned, many would not subscribe to my method, or thought! What would I do in an accident, my truck totaled, just liability ins? Luckily never happened, but answer "just eat it, replace". Jerry Lets not derail a good topic for ^THIS^ pleaseRe: Andersen Hitch bsbeedub wrote: We will be getting a fifth wheel soon and I plan on getting an Andersen hitch. One of the disadvantages I see regularly, and in this thread, is having to align the red hitch pin adaptor directly over the ball on the Andersen. I currently have a TT and have to do basically the same thing with aligning the ball on the truck under the coupler on the tongue . I don’t understand what the difference is and why some indicate this is a difficult thing to do. Can someone shed some light for me please? Its NOT an issue. Well according to some it is but not sure why. Easier than your TT to align...Re: 2022 Ford Super Duty interior? 4x4ord wrote: Why not buy a new 2021 Super Duty and then replace it when the 2023's come out? Ah Sure, You payin?
