They may be an hour away from you but I don't believe you want to be driving there without the converter. Best bet is to have it towed if they have the part you need. I have insurance, and any repair will cost the deductible. My only concern was straight pipe temporarily until I can get am OEM or get an aftermarket. With a 2007 with 60,000 miles, aftermarket looks better and better. I have noted they meet federal standards and are much less. Tomorrow the quest begins! ?? BigDaddy, if you do decide to call Ultra RV I can guarantee you they will give you exactly what you need providing it's in stock. I wouldn't tamper with any off market items. I for a fact spoke with a person that did on a Workhorse chassis and experienced the dreaded check engine light coming on all the time. Sit down when they give you the price as I see it has gone up since I replaced mine but you said insurance is covering it except for you deductible so it shouldn't be a problem. Again Good Luck and hope all turns out well.Re: Stolen Catalytic ConverterLet me guess, they took the one on the drivers side???? Ours was stolen to a couple years ago. Have you given Ultra RV a call. That's where I purchased mine along with quite a few other items over the years. The phone number is 800-417-4559 and they're open 6-4 pacific time. Have your Vin# available when you call. Hope this helps you out.Re: Coach Net, great service !!Had to use them a couple of time and never had any problems. Very polite and congenial on the phone. Seemed to always arrive in the time given. Checking on you after the service was always a plus with me as well.Re: Safety steerOur 04 W22 was situated with probably the heaviest gas coach built being a Newmar Mountain Aire. Never had one problem with it going down the road and it was bone stock. I think a lot of these modification needs are in ones head. Air the tires up correctly and you should be good to go. JMHORe: Adam Graphine ceramic coating7 years??? That'll never happen. There is a detailer that I follow and you can Google him as well. "Pan the organizer" Subscribe to his channel. He's from Canada but has a lot of information on products. You could always message him as well. Very informative.Re: Rv specific soap and waxesI've always used Blue Coral wash and wax on the cars and motor home. It's a name brand but not expensive at all. I get it at Walmart. As far as wax I've used many brands but have resorted to P-21S. I purchase it from Amazon. A little goes a long way. I've not tried any of the new ceramic coating products on the market as of yet.Re: Diamond ShieldOurs was getting so bad that I removed it. You're correct on having it replaced. It's expensive. I removed myself and have to admit it's a tedious job and you have to take your time. I don't know where you are located but there is a company in Fort Meyers, FL area that removes it. It's called Ugly Shield Removal. Wayne and his dad own the company. He has plenty of very detailed videos on YouTube just Google "Ugly shield removal videos" for removing it if you want to remove it yourself. I watched them and followed his instructions to a "T" and it worked. Good Luck hope he can help you if you decide to go that route.Re: Best way to sell the coachWhen deciding to sell ours I used FB Marketplace. Couldn't believe the responses that we had. Sold to the first person that looked at it on the first day. Regarding the other questions with the ad buyers, personally I think they're a big waste of time.
