They didn't add to the trailer's stability. What did help was putting the landing gear on 7 1/2" high blocks. These shortened the landing gear legs and took some shake out of the trailer. Like wood blocks or some type of commercially made block? Thanks!Feet on landing gearWe have the rectangular feet on our landing gear. Does switching to the round 9” feet make a difference? I have a couple questions for you with experience using them. I have a 2019 F250 standard bed. Do you have bed rail clearance issues? Can you make a 90 degree turn? Does your FW ride nose high? Are you having to use blocks to raise the FW high in order to drop on the ball? Thanks for your input!Re: Switching tow vehicles grizz272 wrote: I have a 2018 F350. The Andersen ultimate hitch fits the Factory Ford puck system nicely. I called Andersen yesterday and they said no rack is needed as well.Re: Switching tow vehiclesThanks for the suggestion. I however do not want a stationary hitch.Re: Switching tow vehiclesI called pullrite, that hitch is designed only for a 1/2 ton. Time for an Anderson!Switching tow vehiclesHey everyone. Quick question for those in the know. I’ve seen the light and just purchased a new Ford Super Duty replacing my 1/2 ton tow vehicle. I have a Pull-rite 3100. The new truck came with a 5th wheel prep package. Can I just swap the pull-rite into the Ford then take it to be inspected or is it more in depth? Thanks!
