Only issue if you do that is to check your circuit, most combo microwave/convection need a 20A circuit.. not a 15A. I found that out....Re: Quiet generatorsI got a Firman generator - also sold under the E-Trailer name in the US. They're sold here in Canada by Costco and are a little bit more popular it seems here. Relatively quiet, well made and dirt cheap. Oh, and it works super well, starts and purrs like a kitten. For example, right now they have a Dual Fuel (LPG and Gas) model, 3200/2900 for $799 CAD or $600 USD. Incredible value if you ask me. https://www.firmanpowerequipment.com/shop/wh02942-3200-2900-watt-dual-fuel-inverter-portable-generator/Re: 2 Battery banks built from 6 voltsOne suggestion: you should switch to an MPPT solar charger/controller, you would have better performance. They're pretty cheap nowadays.Re: When to Shut the Fridge OffYes, I do think you're wasting lots of time for nothing. Mine is OFF only when in storage, between trips. Going on 10 years of RVing. You'll develop ulcers soon if you keep it up...Re: Propane delivery noiseWell this ain't my 1st rodeo. 3rd RV in 8 years, my previous RVs had Suburban heaters, 1st time with the Dometic.Re: Propane delivery noiseFrom the inside it's make this very loud noise. It works fine, it's just the noise. Fan only is fine, it's when the burner kicks in. Same at the end of the heating cycle, when the burner shuts down its quiet...Re: Propane delivery noiseYep here's the press release. https://www.dometic.com/en-ca/ca/rebranded/atwoodRe: Propane delivery noiseIt's a Dometic. Heard it was the new name for Atwood...Re: Propane delivery noiseGood idea. It's brand new, so I guess it needs adjustment. Will look into it. It's a Dometic / Atwood. Thank youPropane delivery noiseI have a new Cougar, furnace comes on, fan runs, normal expected noise. After the set time, propane delivery starts, furnace fires up and heat is good. But when the propane delivery starts, it sounds like a jet engine, very, very loud. I've looked at the LPG line, to see if it rattled with something... Could not find anything. Anyone has any idea? Thanks.
