Most were $16,000-18,000 when new. I know NADA still shows a retail value of $13,000+ for my 2009 Jayco 14HW. And because of the cost, they didn't sell as many, so fewer will be available used. The Avalon was the biggest pup built, followed closely by the Rockwood/Flagstaff model you mentioned. I really liked the Avalon, but couldn't afford one when I bought mine.Re: Thetford toilet won't flush.Every spring I have to pull the pump out of the fresh tank, and spin the pump impeller with a nail/screw/awl. It seems the motor sticks, and needs a turn or two to break loose.Re: Towing a Jayco 1206?The 2012 owners manual states trailers over 3500 lbs require a weight distribution hitch. Does your vehicle have the tow package? The owners manual doesn't state what all comes in the package, but you'll need a transmission cooler if not equipped. The towing portion of the owners manual starts at page 409.Re: Folding Caravans / Pennine Artemis? lfloom wrote: The model the OP posted is a british trailer. I know. But the OP was wondering about US manufacturers of similar design. I just pointed him to the only one I was aware of.Re: Folding Caravans / Pennine Artemis?Fleetwood Tacoma. They were built around 2008-9. Pretty pricey for the size. You can buy a new travel trailer for about the same money as a nice used Tacoma. Would be good for a couple with a smaller tow vehicle.Re: PUP Awning worth the darn?We use ours 2-3 times per year, if we are camping in a sunny location and the temps are up. It is a pain, but I carry a two step ladder in the front trunk of the camper. I have to use that anyway to put the flaps over the corner posts. I usually stake it down. I may look for one of those strap kits for it. This summer I may get froggy and put up the add a room, for the 1st time in 5 years.Re: Photo Thread - Post Your PUP Pics HereOur 1st night in our new 14HW. (Taken Mar 24, 2009)
