I have some LifeBlue batteries with internal temp monitoring. Just remember that the batteries take a long time to change temp, big thermal mass. Meaning, the battery temperature tends to be around the average of the daytime hi and low. So 28 deg low and 50 hi, your batteries are plenty warm. Further I only charge at 10 or 20percent of bank capacity around 40 degrees. Search "rubber gutter for rv", I recently added this above my windows. Trim-Lok calls it a drip rail .. So far, haven't noticed the windows getting streaky or dirty. The sika worked for attaching the bezel a little more strongly so when I pull out the side fridge vent I don't strain the bezel so much. Would have used procell, but amazon is charging double from rv parts stores! And I wanted to plug this leak fast. Local place had sika in stock. Driving myself crazy reading about sealants. I need to reseal the bezel of the fridge access cover. Hopefully I'll never have to replace that plastic bezel. I'd like to use a sealant that can be touched up. Will use painters tape to try to keep sealant contained. Will clean with a mineral spirit Use the sikaflex, or stick with silicone and hope not to get some pinhole leaks? Im not the best sealer whatever the material! The original silicon looks to have failed because of a mechanical failure. One of the screws used to secure the bezel popped out. Happy New Year, and thanks. I have 2019 cummins 3500 dually, factory air, and bigfoot 10.4. Im a fulltimer and somehow loaded up to almost 14k pounds. I dont notice the air, i notice the shocks seem very overwhelmed on bumpy dirt roads when crawling along at 5mph. I started fulltimimg Sept. 2019, just before this *"#:! Covid stuff. Fulltimimg in a truck camper is even better than I thought, I'm having a blast!I'm in a 2019 ram dually and bigfoot 10.4 truck camper. I carry a couple bicycles, inflatable kayak, 12lb dog ... And have tons of room. So much room that where I thought I'd be at 13,200 lbs max weight, I ran just over 14k on a cat scale. Embarrassing, I tossed stuff out this past Christmas. Now I have even more storage room inside. I primarily boondock in the west. what I've learned... I never take the camper off (easy to drive rig with camper on), don't need 4wd mode much, but do like the ground clearance, and don't like how slow you have to driver over rough roads, easy to take 2 gallon or less showers ... I have a Bigfoot 10.4 with 2 Lifeblue lithiums. Just stuffing a small blanket inside the door takes care of most of my issues. Started to use that blankie for the dog, so now will use facon heating pads, only if I need to charge and the batts are 40 or below. With blanket and cabinet doors open, will have to be quite cold outside air. Been down to teens at night and daytime high of 33, but moved after 1 day!543Views0likes0Comments
