I bought the smart charger device that provided several charging stages. It would be a good idea to check to see if your 2004 has the jack socket. The device was not very expensive.Re: no power when plugged into 30 ampOnce when I had the same trouble as the OP, it turned out the power cord was loose where it connected to the coach in a junction box. The junction box was located at the back of the compartment where the power cord is stored. Apparently, when putting the power cord in and out of the compartment, the wire nuts inside the junction box were loosened. Easy fix.Re: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosYou can use your phone to take a photo of your driver’s license and your passport .Re: Jayco class cI have had a few issues with my Jayco Greyhawk. The service department was excellent in helping to get those issues fixed. I don’t live near a Jayco dealer who sells motorhomes ( the nearest dealer only sells a few motorhomes but sells many Jayco trailers) and Jayco was good about letter someone else do warranty work.Re: Toll roadsIf the OP is traveling thru NY and Me to get to NS an EZ-Pass is a good investment. You will save time and money going thru toll booths. In NY, there are some overhead toll readers that will read your EZ-Pass as others have mentioned. IMHO it is just easier to use than to get $ out at each toll collection area. Secondary roads are great if you have the time and are in no hurry. Good luck on your trip!Re: No 120 volts to the rv.I have a suggestion. The end of the shore cord should go into a junction box where it connects with a cable that connects to your converter. The shore cord and the cable are usually connected by wire nuts. When you pull out your shore cord, you can possibly loosen the connection to this cable. As a result, you could disconnect power from the pedestal to your RV. This happened to me. Check the end of the shore cord to see if it is connected properly.Re: Keurig coffee makers for the RVI have a Keurig-like coffeemaker I bought on Amazon. It is an Aicok. It cost $37. It uses 800 watts so is inverter friendly. It stores easily in my pantry and there is no need to drain it between uses. Makes a hot cup of coffee and is simple to use. I have used it for the last year and am pleased so far.Re: Need recommendation for campground to view EclipseMuch thanks for all the replies. I will use your advice and see if I can at least get close to the path of the eclipse. We would like to see some of the natural sights and learn some history of the area we will visit. At this time I plan to be very flexible where we might stay. We are retired so we have the time to go further west if need be. I'll check out prior inquiries to this forum and also do some research of my own. Thanks again for all of your help. You have given me ideas to look into.Re: Need recommendation for campground to view EclipseI am the OP. I am looking specifically for a recommended CG in an area that is near the path of the Eclipse. I also need an area where I can rent a car. Thanks.Need recommendation for campground to view EclipseWe are planing to travel to NC,SC or TN to view the Eclipse on August 21st. We would like a recommendation for a nice full hook-up CG that is near the path of the upcoming Eclipse. We also will need to rent a car. Our intention is to stay in an area about a week so we can explore and of course experience the Eclipse. We have a 32 foot Class C and are two adults. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help us? We are traveling from Long Island, NY.
