I did have to modify the Torklift front bracket for my truck camper So it would not rub on tank. The bracket has two bolts where a nut welded on opposing sides of the mounting plate for each bolt. I ended up grinding off the nut on the tank side and welding on on opposite side, same as the other mounting bolt. I was worried that even with the factory tank that nut could possibly rub, not sure why Torklift did it this way but I have traveled many miles and no issues with this modification.Re: Need easy to carry table? That is similar to one I use, been very happy with it Folding tableRe: HF Predator 3500 Generator - New Manual / Oil IntervalsI have 2 Honda Eu2000i's that are about 8 years old. These have been run pretty hard at times, such as runing non-stop fours days straight on a regular basis and have never had any issues. That said, recently purchased the Predator 3500 and have about 35 hours on it now, 22 of that running non-stop. By my ears it does run quieter than the Honda and also has had no issues yet. The electric start and digital meter that show run hours voltage and amperage is nice to. If the durability is anywhere close to the Honda will be extremely happy with purchase since it is cheaper than a single Honda and more power. Maybe I can come back here and 8 years and give a long term report. :)Re: Do U have Large Solar Panel Problems? 327 watt panels. Added a 4th one after this pic was taken.Re: Crimp, Solder, Crush Bedlam wrote: Digging into connections and terminations, I have found only mechanical connections are accepted on aircraft and marine applications with only some exception. Vibration and movement will eventual cause a pure solder joint to fail. Crimping a joint that has been soldered will most likely break the solder joint. Soldering a crimped joint is possible if you can apply sufficient heat transfer quick enough without getting solder wicking up the wire. For my use, I will focus on reliable yet economical crimping methods. The scope of my entire project will require 60+ crimps to completion, so I am looking at tools that will last long enough without falling apart and still provide a consistent connection.). This is the crimper I use Crimper It is a little pricey but have done hundreds of crimps with it and no problems. Unfortunately it is on backorder right now. You might look around their site for alternatives.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today? chobe2 wrote: Cabman 850 wrote: Installed the Lagun table mount for the dinette table. What a big difference, wish we would have done this sooner as it creates so much additional room. Do you have photos? X2. Would be great ro see a few pictures:):)Re: Camper Wiring questionThis is a good link to explain the relay and use http://www.rattlebars.com/mtz/basicrelay.html You either use the 1/4" spade connector with 8GA (yellow) crimp or you can get a female plug with wires and connect with butt connectorsRe: Dish Network pay as you go.I have a Winegard Pathway X2' and the Dish vip211z receiver and use the pay as you go service. I do not have a home account and just use it when traveling. I find it is a bit troublesome to get started and stopped but once theought the hassle it works fine. Because of this I ended up just not using it as much as I planned and just use DVD's or Netflix with my Internet hotspot connection. I have since taken it out of the RV and plan on getting rid of it, just one less thing to haul around.Re: Replacing the couchJust ordered one of these http://www.amazon.com/Serta-Collection-Fabric-Loveseat-CR43530PB/dp/B00EUU5HYU/ref=sr_1_3?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1452668640&sr=1-3&keywords=serta+rta Should get it by end of week.
