For about five miles. fairly level from there down to east of Old Faithful area. then decent climb over Continental guide. Nothing really to worry about. Mammoth is very slow speed with switch backs. 15-25 miles an hour. Old Faithful Continental Divide is a little faster, closer to 45. Thanks, Bud.Gardiner MT to Coulter Bay via 89Other than traffic and animals how is the drive pulling a 35ft TT? Any steep grades to be concerned about? Thanks in advance!Re: Reservation Entry RMNP 2021Just make the reservation well in advance for the earliest time. You can get in anytime after your reservation time. At least that's how it worked in June last year. Also, I'd suggest staying in Grand Lake, not Estes Park.Re: Emerald Coast Florida, campground advice 2012Coleman wrote: SpeakEasy wrote: 2012Coleman wrote: mleekamp wrote: We love Topsail, but you need reservations 11 months in advance it seems. Recently, we booked Emerald Coast RV Park in Panama City FL. Yes, 50 miles east of Destin but still sort of on the panhandle. Looks like its very popular and well received. FHU all day long. Your 36 foot 5vr should fit fine. Looks like a nice place - however, on their website it states: "guests arriving with travel trailers or 5th wheelers cannot be accommodated and will be turned away." True? Can't imagine what it is that you are looking at. Unless it's something new related to COVID. We camped at Topsail in 2019 in a 23-foot travel trailer and there were many travel trailers and fifth wheels throughout the campground. Or were you referring to the Emerald Coast RV Park?? -Speak I was referring to Emerald Coast RV Park Click For Full-Size Image. That's for lake front pull-thrus.Re: Cortez, CO RV parks? They said the 14 day quarantine is for those that are on extended stays. A month or more. Facilities are limited.Re: Which route would be less higher gradeDefinitely I-80 is your best choice. Winds can be bad in Wyoming, but with your low profile trailer you'll be fine.Re: Favorite place to camp to avoid the heat in middle USAWinding River Resort, Grand Lake CO. But don't tell anyone.Re: Recommendations for Moab campgroundWe really liked Archview and it's location. Out of the hustle bustle of town. A few miles north of Arches NP. At road to Canyonlands and Dead Horse SP. Don't miss any of those. Also, if coming from the east take Hwy 128 a few miles after you get into Utah, or take a drive up 128 if you're coming from a different direction. Awesome drive along the Colorado River(thanks Busskipper).Re: Michigan to Yellowstone and back kedanie wrote: According to their site, Fishing Bridge RV Park is closed for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Keith My bad, didn't realize they were to be closed in 2020 as well.
