All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: raising ride heightmy springs are under the axle. i am also trying to raise th rear of the trailer because we do mostly mission trips in our rig and sometimes the places we go tend o dag in the rear.raising ride heighti have a 2007 mobile suite which rides a little nose high. i have lowered the hitch and raised the pinbox all i can and i noticed onother set of holes in the spring mount which would certainly help this situation. does anyone know of someone who has done this? thanks.Re: Towing a fiver with a 9' flatbedyou could also have someone miter the corners of the bedRe: Towing a fiver with a 9' flatbedyou could also have someone miter the rear corners of your bedRe: Towing a fiver with a 9' flatbedi am on my second fifth wheel and my third flatbed. my first used the existing ball and i installed a gooseneck adapter. it worked great but my next is a mobile suite and i was leary of using the adapter with it due to the weight so i purchased a conventional hitch. it is a little nose high but i cannot lower the hitch or raise the pinbox any further. it was level until i added the more ryde pinbox. i really like the flatbed. easy acess to everything,durable,easy to touch up the appearance.downside is you have to be careful to strap everything down. never had clearance problems with bed but i could not open front compartment while hooked up for you weight, i would probably go with gooseneck adapter. just my opinionRe: first trip with new truckjust got back from second trip and into service. pulling 18000 lbs of mobile suite from newport tennnessee to alabama.cruise set on 62 got 12.2 average on readout but so far it has been very accurate. about 2mpg better than previous f350 6.0first trip with new truckfirst trip with 2022 chevy duramax 3500 flatbed . other than problem with filling tank , awesome trip. 1700 miles from alabama to arkansas 9.9 mpg average with cruise set 0n 65mphRe: first trip with new riggpulling 2007 mobile suite 36sb3 grossing about 27000 lbs i believe had some pretty hard pulls through the qzarks but it went wellfirst trip with new riggmade 1700 mile roundtrip with new chevy duramax 3500 flatbed. factory brake controller worked great,new rig was awesome except for slow rate to add fuel.think the problem was kink in vent hose will know next time 9.9 mpg average with cruise set to 65mph.satisfiedRe: New truck! Got it!had a 64 carryall with 292 and 4 speed and a 66 with 454 and 400 turbo great memories but mine werent as nice as yours.nice ride
