I was suggesting what would work economically with their existing set up. Re: Adding a Fifth wheel hitch Hello, Apparently this forum is somewhat dead at this time. It appears that you have a B&W turn over gooseneck hitch installed on the truck. I have the same. As the others were stating, avoid a gooseneck conversion kit for the fifth wheel camper itself. The two best options you have are the B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch, or the Andersen Ultimate Hitch. Both will attach to the gooseneck ball you have. I have an older Andersen steel hitch, and have had no problems with it. The most important thing you will have to consider is the pin weight of the fifth wheel you are considering. You have a 2021 2500 Silverado. Check the payload sticker in the drivers side door sill. It will tell you the cargo capacity you have. This will determine how much total weight you can carry/pull. Re: Blank Screen on Coleman Mach Digital ThermostatOur thermostat went blank a couple years ago during a hot, week long trip. Did some quick research, found the 12v power supply wire for the thermostat comes from the furnace. It was labeled "thermostat +12v". There was 12v there, but not at the thermostat. I hotwired it to a light switch right below it, that that is how it works to this day.Re: Jacking/Lifting Trailer for Wheel Bearing/Brake Service?Did anyone look at that Bottle Jack Buddy link? They are selling them for $54.99? A person can buy a spring seat for 8-12 dollars and use as is, or have a friend tack weld a piece of pipe to it.Re: New Superduty gas engine for 2023.Seems a little ridiculous. 6.8 vs 7.3? Ford should just put one gas motor in, the 7.3 Godzilla, which, so far has proven to be a great engine. That way, they could use economy of scale to keep costs in line.Re: iPad as a GPS deviceWifi only iPads do not contain the GPS hardware to allow them to act as a standalone GPS. The OP is wanting to know if the iPhone can somehow share it's GPS info with the iPad. I don't believe simply using the iPhone as a hotspot will work for that. It would be easy to test, though.Re: anyone seen one of these in person? No, but I just seen this in Mitchell, South Dakota, on the way to Thanksgiving. Re: HP 2420 "dirty" baxkgroundThat model looks to have the fuser and toner all in one cartridge. I would think that a new toner cartridge would solve the problem. Buy the cheapest one you can find, not HP, and see if it fixes the issue. If not, new printer time.Re: Andersen Ultimate Hitch - my observationsMy steel Andersen hitch has instructions on a label on the actual hitch, but it does not say anything about re-torqueing it. I am positive I read that on the paperwork instructions included with the hitch. I see there is no mention of it in the current online instruction manual, which covers all of the hitches, including the steel one I have that has been discontinued. Next time I am at the camper, I'll locate the paperwork. Makes sense to me though, after dropping the camper on the hitch, the bed deflection causes the bolt to no longer be torqued properly, allowing some fore and aft movement. I can get more than one turn of the bolt to obtain the proper torque. Current truck is a 2012 Ram 3500 Dually. I do wish I had a more secure connection with the modern puck system, but this truck is paid for now, so I'll stick with it.Re: Andersen Ultimate Hitch - my observationsI have the steel Andersen. The instructions that came with the hitch stated to re-torque the top bolt after placing the full tongue weight on the ball. So, after lowering the rv onto the ball, I loosen the two locking bolts, and re-torque the center bolt, then re-torque the locking bolts. Makes a big difference in the towing experience. I only do this once, when installing the hitch. Then, for subsequent hitching and towing, I don't adjust it. If I remove and re-install the hitch, I perform the procedure again. Andersen address this in the FAQ here: https://help.andersenhitches.com/faq/what-should-be-the-torque-of-the-top-bolt-on-the-ultimate-fifth-wheel-connection-hitch
