They refine their rigs constantly, so documentation may be dicey. Were it me, I'd probably budget some extra cash into some little things. For example, if the converter isn't a three stage, yank it out and put in either a proper one or step up to a Magnum Energy hybrid inverter. Add an accumulator tank the the water pump. If accessible, replace sink traps with Hepvo waterless traps (which also double as air admittance valves.) Small things that add a lot of usability to a rig. To me, one of the biggest sellers of a Sunseeker is that it has a fiberglass roof. If it had a rubber roof, I'd look elsewhere, as roof materials can mean a rotted heap in five years versus a rig still going strong a decade later. Rubber roofs are long lasting if you take care of them properly. I have never seen a rubber roof rot out in 5 years. My rubber roof is going on 11 years old now with no issues whatsoever and it is outside in the weather year round through sunshine, rain and lots of snow.Re: RV Home Theater Issues BB_TX wrote: Good luck. I have an '07 Montana that had a no-name system in it. No name on the unit, the remote, or the manual. Best thing that happened is it died and I replaced it with a name brand purchased at Best Buy. Go over and join up on the Montana Owners Club forum. Lots of knowledge and help with your Montana there. I remember someone knowing the brand of those units at one time but I don't remember what it was. I seem to remember they were no longer in business. I checked out the link but it seems as though the site is abandoned. Too bad as it looks like it was a good site at one time.Re: RV Home Theater IssuesThanks for the replies. I have found what you guys have posted but it appears none of it applies to this unit unfortunately. I cannot believe nobody has any info on this thing. It seems to work well but I am having trouble with some of the settings.RV Home Theater IssuesAnyone have any idea who manufactures this system or where to locate a manual online or otherwise? Just bought a used (very slightly used) 2005 Montana 3400RL. The sound system says "Home Theater System QR2000" but there are no manuals with it and a Google search is not providing any useful information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Re: Seasonal site users -- patio deck mounting? woodworker59 wrote: Insall bracing from post to joist at 45 degree angles in both directions. Which two bodies were involved? Ask 'em! In physics, the sudden, forceful coming together in direct contact of two bodies, such as, for example, two billiard balls, a golf club and a ball, a hammer and a nail head, or a falling object and a floor. The insurance company will try to categorize it as whatever cost them less in the long run. I would fight for it to be covered under comp. Sometimes you have to really lean on them to see it your way.Re: Mobile Suites towed with short bed Dodge?According to his sig, he owns a 3500 short bed, single rear wheel.Re: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosThe tape idea sounds a bit dangerous to me. The mirrors work perfectly and not only let me know how much room I have but also if there is anything else on the side of me such as another vehicle, etc. I would suggest bigger mirrors if you cannot focus with your current setup.Re: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info. jasult wrote: Found New Champion 3500 remote start in box and never assembled from a home owner that posted it on Craigslist. I ended up paying 300 cash and was happy CAMPER. Hooked up battery, put in oil and gas and remote started her up and runs great. This one will go on my 5ver and will replace my pull start Champ. The pull start goes to my construction jobs and on 5ver all the time Nice score! While my Champion is not electric start I still love it. Serves me well.Re: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & Gizmos popeye59 wrote: amandasgramma wrote: sandman27959 wrote: Write your contact information on a piece of paper and take a picture of it with your digital camera. Don't ever delete the picture, and someone can find you and return your camera if you lose it. At my workplace we get dozens of lost cameras every year with people's travel, wedding, graduation, etc. - pics that can't be replaced, and we have no way of knowing how to get in touch with them. EXCELLENT advice!!!! I would limit that contact information to a cell phone number or a work number. Home land line numbers can be reverse looked up and if you address is there, well, they know you're not home to protect the rest of your stuff. Very good advice... a name, phone number & an e-mail address are all you want to list. Same goes for luggage. We also leave the same info on paper inside the luggage in case a tag falls off.
