Does anyone know why?Lack of engine or exhaust brake on ford super cI have checked the ford super c's the last 2 years and noticed they don't have the engine/exhaust brake on them and since they have a 10,000lb towing capacity thought that odd! Why would they not have them as the pickups have them or can you install them yourself after purchase?Re: CowcatchersThanks for all of your comments the serious and the funny! I know they couldn't protect you from everything but I would think it would save you some cash and yes defensive driving would help whether you had one or not! I had never seen one on a motorhome so I asked! Maybe some will and some wont want one!CowcatchersI installed a brush guard/cowcatcher on my pickup to protect it when animals ran in front of me and it has saved me expensive repairs several times! So my question is do they make them for motorhomes to protect the front of them? Sure would save a lot of money in repairs!Re: Door Location for DPsOne reason may be that it is easier to see to the right and no one will be in your way when looking at the side mirror for the pass seat to be set back besides the obvious door opening!TT AdviceHi folks! My wife and I had big dreams of fulltiming when I retired! I had about 5 yrs to go before turning 62 and that was our target date for liftoff and then BOOM, I became disabled and everything became jumbled up! We still want to do it but have to downsize our plans a little. So we are looking at small travel trailers that will sleep two in a king size bed, a large shower/tub combo and would love a residential fridge with the inverter set-up but I am probably asking for too much with that! Any suggestions at where and what to look at would be greatly appreciated.Re: Palazzo motorhomesThank you all for your replies! I should have mentioned that I needed to tow at least 10k and the Palazzo 35.1 that I am looking at does that while some of the others mentioned only go up to 5k or 7.5k! I also want air brakes and air ride so gas is out also! Most of the ones I have researched are a little underpowered including the Palazzo but one the Pathfinder 404rb has a 400 hp diesel with 1250 ft lbs of torque! We just like the layout of the Palazzo with the door in the middle instead of where Nana will be sitting! Im not cheap just have to live within my means or I would look up the ladder! I have looked at hundreds of used but don't like the smell of used units, maybe I should buy some febreeze or a noseplug huh? Again thank you for your help!Palazzo motorhomesWanting to get some opinions from people that own a Palazzo about their experiences with them! The wife and I thought we wanted a fifth wheel but then after looking around we may have changed our mind! Any owner replies would be appreciated! Thank you!Re: kid chopping down live trees? You need to be careful posting so many comments on one issue, you might get congress involved and you know what happens then! Oh yea "nothing"! LOL But in all seriousness we don't spend time making people follow rules because we take too much time creating rules! I get the joke about the scout leaders but just imagine how many kids would grow up not enjoying the outdoors and be doing things that are not constructive to society that we see in inner city youth! I personally had a older brother that took me fishing and hunting and did all the outdoorsy stuff! He taught me the rules and the what to do's and what not to do's including the old adage "pack it in, pack it out" and leave the campsite cleaner than you found it! Thanks big brother! I was lucky!
