The first truck was a second generation Dodge and the second truck a 4th generation Dodge. I'm sure the frame on the new truck is better and springs a little stiffer but I don't think air bags are a great option for truck campers unless each side is individually valved to stop the body from rolling. The timbrens take care of the roll issue and assist with the weight very well. Plus it is a simple systemRe: Which Spring Enhancement for Ram 3500 hd DRW crewcab longbedI just went through this and for the price Timbrens was the cheapest, best and easiest option. I ran air bags on My old truck with a factory swaybar and overloads. It did OK. I upgraded the rear swaybar and it was much better. I ended up going with Timbrens on the new rig and at under $200.00, they were the best option. The truck handles the load much better than the old truck did. Hope this helpsRe: looking for tiresI just replaced the factory 265/70/17s on my 2012 Dodge with Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70/17 126r tires. 3750lb load rating. America's tire (Discount)gave me the best out the door price on them. What size are you looking for?Re: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper HerePoser shot of my set up while I am working on it. 2012 Dodge and 2010 Lance 825 Re: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper Here This last weekend. 2001 Dodge and 2011 Lance 825.
