We visited Redwood National Park back in 2018. We stayed in Crescent City at the Crescent City KOA. We visited the sections of the park that were close to this area. Sorry, I can't remember the names of the areas we saw. We hiked different sections of the park for two days, which was enough for us. The areas we saw were fabulous. I am thinking that I will try and get reservations for some of the "possibly more crowded parks" and will try and push the trip into the late summer/early fall as far as I can. WOW !! Thanks for all of the responses. When we visited Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon, we stayed in the national park campgrounds. And, I'm glad we did. So, what if we left Pennsylvania at the end of July and got to the parks in August/September? Would the crowds start diminishing? I realize that a bit later, would be better, but our church has quite a few activities at the end of September/early October that I help with. And, thanks for the advice on additional parks to visit. I am thinking that we will hit the northwestern part of the US this time and visit the southwestern part at a later date. Thank you.347Views0likes0Comments
