LOL RE: the question about supporting the front end in the event of front leg failure, the tri-pod would be toasted! I agree w/ others on this point. You want stability and don't have 6pt level up, go w/ JT StrongarmsRe: 2023 Ford Super DutyKinda still looks like my '17 DRW.Re: How to go about fixing skylight leakAs a temp fix tho tape isn't, use Eternabond to get you by. I re-caulked the entire roof/side walls couple years ago as as well as checking all places where factory caulked. After seeing a fellow Heartland owners new Roof Armor (I'm pretty sure that's who did it), made me think that I may want to go this route cuz they will seal everything probly better than what came from factory. Not cheap as I think it ran him several grand, but results have been great. Just saying this as an alternative.Re: New bathroom sink replacement bead sealerNot sure what type of sealant was used, but in the stick house, I've used a clear plumbers putty w/ very good results. Had to scrape off anything left w/ a razor blade 1st before installing sink then the putty.Point to ponder, hornets nest stirStopped by our old RV dealer today to speak w/ a person there and off course off today. So struck up a conversation w/ a sales lady about their take on today's SRW trucks and what the mfr's of them are saying about towing and what the RV dealer recommends. Well it seems the RV dealer is saying that you really don't need a DRW for 5ers unless your doing a lot of cross country driving. Being a lil surprised, I asked even tho the GVW of the 5er is pushing 15,5 and up, pin weights of 3500 and up? Reply back was, "depends on weight capacity of the truck". Sigh.Re: Low tree branches in my development ..UpdateHere in CNY, most housing tracts I know of, the roads are maintained by the local Hiway dep't after once the roads are in. I agree w/ others, try contacting local DPW and explain nicely what's up. More than likely they'll come and cut things down. Yes, all wires have to be above 14' and have heard stories of semi's taking them down if not. If no resolve w/ DPW, call mayor, town super and such.......again, be nice about it. And if need be, like others said too, ask neighbors if they could help you trim things and then set cuttings next to curb for lawn/leaf pick crews as they should come thru every couple weeks or so. Your paying taxes for this service or at least it should be incl in your taxes.Re: New couch ideas ???Don't the backs of them come off? The ones on our home recliners and couch (non sleeper) did anyways.Re: Cedar Creek rear cap cracksYou said you spoke w/ FR. Was it FR or Cedar Creek? CC used to have awesome customer service, but sadly times may have changed since we owned one. If no luck there. just my $.02, but insurance or lawyer time?Re: Disc Brakes - Saved me $$$$Looks great Learjet !!!!Re: 2022 F-350 Demo Impressions FishOnOne wrote: BB_TX wrote: FishOnOne wrote: I've been resisting driving the new Super Duty's for a reason and with the 2023 Duty's coming up it maybe even more challenging. …… Yep. I went in for an oil change a few years ago on my old F350 Superduty and came home with a new one. :S Hate it when that happens :B LMAO.....but true!
