Considering the prices for the modern junk $10.000 and up would be a deal to the one that loves it the most. We couldn't find one of those die hard Avion lovers here in northeast Wisconsin. Had to settle for about what we had in it.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?We are putting up for sale our 1976 Avion RV for sale. 22 foot. It is on page 826 of this post. Owners of Dodge based RV's?Not necessary but just annoying! Are the dash lights plug in bayonet style or the newer all glass style? Can you reach up and find them from behind? This is the dash in it. Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Went out at noon left fuel pump run til count of 10, full choke no pumping of the pedal. Started right up :) The 3rd part of that video answered my question on the accelerator pump 4:35. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8CnQWTUSNURe: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?I found this on YouTube, it is what mine looks like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzNhCLg9veg Part II shows these tabs. 5:50 into the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huzO53WB_1cRe: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?StingrayL82 would you have pictures of this? My experience is with vintage snowmobiles not larger carburetors.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?My question to the group is does the 76 Mopar 440 carburetor have a primer pump? If you pump the foot pedal does it pump gas into the carburetor throat? It has sat for a week and now will not start. It has an electric fuel pump on it so I let the pump run for awhile before trying to start it. Last weekend we went camping and when we went to leave it was a hard start. Update: went out and let the fuel pump run for 2 more minutes and it started right up :)Re: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photosThat is the problem, getting the pane out of the frame. No screws from the inside, screws and 4 rivets one in each corner on the outside. I think the screws hold the window in the wall and the rivets hold the frame together. Cayo made the Motorvator In the early 70s which was a full Class C and worth buying just for the name... 67, mid-April sounds perfect. Let’s get as many Avionistas as possible in on this. It could be in two sections: the Terlingua trip or the Muley Point trip, or the full catastrophe! It’s a mere 1200 miles from my place to Terlingua. Compared to 1600 from Florida, ain’t nothing to it! I’m in for the whole catastrophe! We’ve got a plan. Onward! They were made for 3 years 76, 77, 78. That Cayo Motorvator looks cool.
