We purchased our Majestic, named Harvey the RV, in 2012 and have had a wonderful experience. Hope you enjoy your rig as much as we've enjoyed ours.Re: Buying a Former Rental Class C. Seems to me that there are a lot of gizmos in any rig that have limited useful life along with big ticket items like the roof A/C and fridge, awniing, tires, engine cooling system, brakes, transmission, suspension, etc. Expect to start spending some money on items as they reach around 7 years old. If you can fix or replace most things yourself that makes a difference. Balance those concerns with the reality of depreciation and potential negative equity on a new rig.Re: Buying a Former Rental Class C. How many of us out there? Finally made the purchase. Got a 2006 28A from the sales location in Manassas, VA. We rented prior to the purchase and had our rental costs rebated. The salesman was very helpful and quickly fixed the few things we found that were in need of repair. We camped a night and returned to NC. 600 uneventful miles so far. Based on research and reading countless articles on this forum, I'm comfortable that we made a good choice. Thanks to the forum members who have shared their experiences. It made our buying decision much easier. We'll update positive/negative over time.
