so much power I didnt even notice the breakaway plug got pulled and locked up the brakes on the camper! was on a camping/fishing trip with the family dont know how it happened. was in when we left the camp ground. pulled in the driveway, smelt burning brakepads and saw smoke coming from the camper wheels was still getting 14mpg towing tripple with the locked up 28foot camper and 20foot fiberglass CCboat sooo...what do you suppose I will need to replace? breaks still seem to work, not sure how much pad I have, wheels still seem to spin freely4.3KViews0likes16CommentsRe: home made toy hauler help
not as long as you were talking I think but the same idea. 24foot car hauler trailer, 11 foot pickup camper with framed in underside and doors for storage. 13 feet of open deck for toys. I fit two wheelers, the generator and a large cooler and could still open the door to the camper. when you park and offload the toys you have a nice raised wood deck to set up your camp chairs!807Views0likes0CommentsRe: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper Here
hope its ok to post mine here. it started as a truck camper so i'll prolly be spending most of my time in this part of the forum (plus, no pic thread in the Toy hauler section) 1983 "Real light" 11.5 foot camper, framed in the sides and sheeted in matching alluminum. rebuilt a 22 foot car hauler trailer for the rolling gear.
