Edd505 - not trying to start an argument. Was told it changes the pivot point. If this is true or not I don't know. However I DO KNOW it makes it much easier to maneuver into tight spots.

Another factor I've not seen mentioned here - when backing into tight spots 4WD in much easier to maneuver. Cant exactly explain physics of that but it's true. Use it parking on side of my house every time.

Ditto to what Super Dave said - thought I was the only one. Also mine was doing exact same thing. Bought online but took to local dealer. Fixed under warranty at one year old. Just needed carb cleaning.

replacement window shades
Any suggestions where I would look for window shades for my 2007 HHII? Would like to replace with the new styles if possible. Any ideas and advice appreciated. PS - did a search and nothing came up. Thanks Bob

Thanks all. This is the feedback I was looking for. Currently have a NU-WA Hitchhiker II LS - 2007 model. This is a well made trailer, was just exploring the possibility of going newer or doing some normal maintenance due to age (roof?). Think you have answered my question. Bob

If this is just for tire and misc air pressure look at Lowe's Kobalt Air Inf-later. $45 and goes to 125 PSI.

Inverter
Hello all - long time reader, rarely post here however I do have a question. Had little mishap that damaged my electrical cord from RV to truck. First time ever I hooked up to bumper connection - cord slipped out through tailgate and bounced along road for a while. Repair guy I use said that the charge line from truck wasn't working - fuse was blown. He also said Inverter wasn't working. We were on dry camping trip and the generator worked fine but did not charge batteries. Had to connect it direct to batteries to get enough charge to lift RV to hitch. All this leads to my question - how do I tell if inverter is working or not. This morning gauge in trailer showed no battery charge. I now have it plugged in 30 amp outlet and will see if i charges that way?? Thanks for some non technical advise.

I have heard that quality of these units dropped for several years due to health issues with owner. Not sure that is true but I am looking at a 2007 model 235. Any information or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bob
