I had problem with a blown hose on a slide out room. I made the repair with parts sent very fast from HWH. I had a problem with air in system after the repair. I left message to have a tech call me. I have the workhorse W-22 it is very well built. I think the W-22 used 22.5 tires where fords I have seen used smaller tires. Make sure brake recall was done and dash gauges all work. I feel a class A is so much better for traveling, 5th wheel is better for longer stays in one spot. I have the 35A floor plan, that works well for us. I removed the Bedroom door we like it better without it. Motor cooling fan noisy on hill climbing but fine at cruise. TJ534Views0likes0CommentsRe: Windshield wipers travel
I have what they call a pantograph wiper system. I couldn't get the setting right until I found the problem was the arms were bending under the hood. I attached some stiff tubing with worm gear clamps. Now the setting stay put and wipers stay on the windshield. Good luck TJ261Views0likes0CommentsRe: Run Flat on back dually
I think you are on right path. Two new tires to the front, least tread or oldest for spare. I have likeD sized MH w22/8.1 I check the air every am when traveling, On one trip 200 miles and about noon heard large boom and felt a shudder. MH still handling normal I pulled over to do a walk around. 1st thought was tire or windshield on towed jeep. all 10 tires looked good no body damage I could see. pulled back on freeway ran 50 mph for 15 mins. all good got back to 65 mph for another 200 miles. next am on check tires inner left rear showing zero drove to tire store couple blocks away. asked for tire check. Tire guy tells me all look good but cant get pressure to fill one tire. after pulling tires from left rear I see a 3" dia hole in side wall. stay safe TJ535Views0likes0CommentsRe: Flat Tire
I had a tire problem, that could answer your hypothetical. I had 4 rear tires 10 years old and 2 steer tires 2 years old. Running on I-75 about 70 mph felt and heard large bang. I was in tight traffic so took about 1/2 mile to get to a wide road shoulder. I was sure I would find a dent in the side of the MH or jeep towed missing a windshield. Did a double walk around kicked all 10 tires. nothing seemed damaged. I got back on the highway slowly adding speed and checking handling, all good ran 3 more hours at 75 mph till dark. I stopped overnight at Walmart. In the am, I check tire pressure, found inside driver rear at zero. I saw tire store 100 yards away and went there for air. Tire guy says that's weird tire wont hold air but cant hear any air leaking. Pulled tire off and found side wall hole bigger than a baseball. Bought new tires right there, I still cant believe I could not tell one rear was with out air. My thought was if you check tires, use a gage rather then your foot. I signed up for att ZTE Mobley 3months ago, at the time I was told out of stock with about 4 to 6 weeks wait time. Well signed up and oked the wait 4 days later had unit in hand. They also had a strange way to set up pricing. Contract said $40 per month for about 5GBs after you get the unit you need to call (connect-car)people to change to the $20 unlimited plan. I set it up to never shut down, I move it between boat, 3 vehicles and the house using after market usb cord. Never saw any slow down after the 22 marker.
