Collapsed, their only 2' by 4' and easily stored.Re: Thomas Payne Furniture - AVOID ITWhen we decided to replace our very uncomfortable camper sofa,I went online to La-Z-Boy. Compared our available camper space dimensions to what La-Z-Boy had available.Their "College Rocking Recliner" fit our space perfectly. And at around $360 each it was a easy sell. Now with two recliners, after a long day on the road or sight seeing we can kick back and REALLY relax. No more brick of a sofa!!Re: Replace or reseal skylightI also renovated a old 2006 camper. I found that after many years of sun exposure all the plastic parts on the roof became brittle. So, I replaced all the plastic components with new ones. So if it were me and were planning on using the camper for some time, I would replace the sky light with a new one. Really not much more work than repairing and resealing the old one.Re: Loose tow bar in receiver wa8yxm wrote: Blue ox makes/made a product one of them is called an "Anti rattle clip" the other Hitch Immobilizer (Same product they changed the name) it's a clamp that locks that hitch solid. Have used one for 14 years now. The Blue Ox clip is what I use. Easy to install and and eliminates all hitch slop. Well worth it!Re: Winterizing and sink sprayer hoseWhen winterizing, after draining the camper, I always pull my sink sprayer all the way out, hold it up as high as I can and turn it on. this way all the residual water that sits in the sink sprayer and the loop under the sink will drain out thru the lines. One final blast with the air compressor and all is good.Re: Black holding tank censors SoundGuy wrote: Your tank sensors mount to the inside of the tanks and clog, especially the black tank. The solution is to replace them with sensors that read from outside the tanks. SeeLevel Tank Gauges I replaced mine with the See Level Tank Sensors. They work beautifully and are fairly accurate. Fairly straight forward to install and you can leave your old none functioning sensors in place.Re: A simple ideaWe found that backing up directions became less stressful when we got Walkie Talkies. No more screening which lowered our stress levels. Also I remind her that I need to see her from one of my rear view mirrors. Instead of left/right directions we use driver/passenger to indicate which directions she wants me to move the camper.Re: Wanting to replace furnitureWe ripped out our couch and replaced it with two Lazy Boy recliners. Before going to Lazy Boy, we measured the space and checked recliner dimension online. Lazy Boys smallest recliner designed for college dorms and such was just right! When traveling we slide them facing each other and have a bungee strap that keeps them in place. they've been great, very comfortable and durable.Re: Towing with a TundraI have a 2007 Tundra 5.7L. I pull a 27' Forest River Flaggstaff. When fully loaded it weigh's around 5800lb. I also use a Blue Ox weight distribution hitch. The Tundra pulls the camper easily. I've not encountered any situation where I wished I had more truck. I always pull in tow mode. When towing it will shift often, and the shift points are higher, so that takes some getting used to. Just go camping and enjoy!!Re: Second 1,000,000 Mile TundraMy 2007 Tundra 5.7L has 62,000 mile on it. Another 15 decades and I will reach the million mile milestone! :)
