Plus (hopefully) have the experience.Re: Installing level indicators. If you want to be super accurate, then park on a concrete slab that is level. Then take a 4' level and a couple of 1x2's about 2" long. Put the`1x2's under each end of the level and confirm that it reads level. Then adhere the stick-on levels so that you can see them (front to back and sideways) from the drivers seat. Once they are adhered, use the tiny screws to keep them in that position. It's pretty simple, but amazing how many people don't do this and find themselves doing it every time they setup!.Re: TravelScooterWell, i pulled the plug yesterday and bought one. After a bit of assembly, it was all ready. This thing is very stable and comfortable. I do believe I'll be using it a lot! Thanks for you feedback.Re: Woodbutchers?I, too have been doing woodworking since a teen. I got into carving about a dozen years ago and spent time learning the trade. It has a wide range of styles. There are also lots of completions from local to international. I mostly just carve for the nice activity it is! I usually precut/glue up any project woods before going camping. Doesn't take up much space either. Good hobby for camping!Re: TravelScooterYep, i've had a "portable" unit that weighed in at 65 lbs. Although it did come apart, it was clunky! I actually broke my sternum manhandling it! (long story). Can anyone give me some feedback on how comfortable the seat is after a while? I t sounds like it is well built. Yes, i'm thinking i can rent one for a week and get to know it better, which i'll probably do.Re: TravelScooterGood to know, Thanks.TravelScooterWondering if anyone has experience with this product? travelscoot How stable is it? How comfy is the seat after a while, ect. It does look like good engineering. Looks like it folds up right out of the way which is a big plus! Thoughts? Thanks, GaryRe: Waited too long to get eclipse glasses. Alternatives?Get a pair of binoculars. Put them on your shoulder, with the big lens facing behind you. Now focus the small image onto a piece of paper in front of you and there it is! Safe and effective.Re: Need confortable chairs that pack up in a tube HuckFinn410 wrote: Bad back here. I struggled for years to find just the right chair. Finally I tried the Strong-back chair. Not cheap, but I've had it for 6 years and it's held up perfectly. Best bag chair that I've ever had. I'll third this suggestion. We've had a couple of Strongback chairs for about 6 years now also. My back is very severely compromised (95% of my vertebrae have fractured And 10 are fused). We have had a lot of different ones in the past, but these have the perfect support for the whole back. Oh, and they fit very nicely behind the drivers seat in our Roadtrek.Re: Observation on rentalsI've noticed that, when they find their (reserved ) site, a few of them don't leave their RV. I guess they just unwind and use all the appliances etc. inside. But don don't get me going on the driving! Very slow on corners, but speed right up on a passing lane, only to slow down again! Terrible.
