I just had my slide serviced because is was rubbing against the top of the slide motor. Apparently Fleetwood is aware of this problem but is not issuing a notice to owners because they would have to pay for a recall and repairs. Even my extended warranty would not pay because they said it was a known defect and Fleetwood should be responsible for the repairs. Not sure if this is the same problem you are having, but I would contact the manufacturer customer service and report the problem immediately and document all communications with them. I'm having the Invisibrake installed in my Fiat 500 Pop. I hear this is the easiest supplemental brake system on the market. I had an EvenBrake in my Equinox which I hated. When towing my Fiat (manual transmission) does the key still need to be in the ignition with the transmission in neutral.
