What a wonderful camping weekend this last weekend was here in Illinois!! We camped at Eldon Hazlet SP at Carlyle Lake and it was great!!! We had site #281 which was a wonderful water site!! Harley, Oh heck yea...there were alot of people shore fishing...we kept our 1 yr. old grandson that weekend so no time for fishing for us...but it is a really nice place to do that!!!Actually, I will attach a pic of the shoreline at our campsite...as you can see our boys, although grown, will be boys....throwing rocks!!!!306Views0likes0CommentsRe: ~Post your campsite photos here~

We stayed at this campground this weekend and a wonderful weekend it was!!! Located in Rochester, IL (approx. 17 miles SE of Springfield) Hickory Point Campground, Sangchris Lake SP site #55..this site had tons of room...you can see behind us a big open field. MonaK, Thanks for the comments and the "seat covers" are actually another tablecloth cut in two and folded to go on the benches. I love covering those because they are usually dirty or damp and this prevents this. I also double my tablecover with another one back to back so the cottony backing dont get dirty.
