Just disassemble the sofa and it goes right out the door!Re: Route around AtlantaUse US 27, great road. Mostly 4 lane the whole way and 65 mph. Just figure out where to connect to it and where to get off. Beats the heck out of I-75 and Atlanta traffic. Use I-185 from LaGrange to Columbus.Re: Michelin Defender LTX Discontinued ??About time. The 2 sets on my Chevy 2500HD were really bad. I have always had outstanding luck with Michelin's on my cars and SUV's. I got 58,000 miles out of the OEM Bridgestone's and about 35,000 each on the 2 sets of Michelin's. The only reason I bought the 2nd set was that the 1st set had cost me approximately $1250 and I thought I was getting a top of the line premium tire with a 70,000 mile warranty. I was not going to put a second set on my truck, but Discount Tire sold me the second set for $550, due to only lasting 1/2 of the mileage warranty. The 2nd set were out of round from purchase. When I drove away I immediately went back and complained, they rebalanced and I left and they were still bouncing until I recently replaced them. The only reason I did not go back again was that I had just got a new set of LT tires for only $550! But they were still garbage.Re: No more Bridgestone Duravis R250 tire?So it was your right rear (doorside) tire? I have only had two blowouts in 24 and 1/2 years of towing travel trailers and both were the right rear and both were Chinese made tires.Re: Are all new RVs built this bad or is it just mine?I really miss my old 2006 Sunline. Zero defects from factory! It was an awesome camper. However, like a lot of us the wife decided she wanted a larger camper.Re: Carrier air v won’t startThe Carriers were very bad. I had 2 Carrier heat pumps on my 2011 Open Range. Supposedly, Open Range bought all remaining stock of Carrier RV A/C & heat pumps when Carrier got out of the RV business and Open Range was just starting. Constant problems all the time. Open Range apparently knew the Carrier's were bad and willingly replaced them before my 2 year warranty had expired. Needless to say I was shocked that they agreed to replace them so easily. The original Open Range company really stood by their products.Re: Overnight stop near AtlantaHigh Falls State Park just south of Atlanta or Red Top Mountain State Park north of Atlanta. There are also some nice COE campgrounds around Lake Allatoona on the north side of Atlanta.Re: Are RV sewer hose supports necessary?I do not use one while camping. It is a simple matter of hydraulics. If the camper outlet is higher than the sewer opening, eve if the sewer opening is raised. The incoming water from the camper will push whatever is in hose on through and down the sewer. Of course you must have a hose with no leaks. After 24 years of campers I have never had a problem. I have never stayed anywhere that required one.Re: Conversation with Goodyear about Marathon tiresMy 1996 Nomad, my 1999 Innsbruck and my 2000 Fleetwood Terry all came with Goodyear Marathons. They were great tires. Never had any problems with any of them. Checked pressure regularly, but not before every trip. Never had a blowout or flat. I do not know what happened to them after that. I heard that manufacture of them shifted to China, but because of quality that GY brought them back for manufacturing in the US. I have had two blowouts on Chinese tires on some of my newer campers. Just put GY Endurance on my current camper last year. So far so good.
