101 southbound is the best direction to enjoy the spectacular OR coast. BUT the campgrounds fill up very quickly. Two choices are suggested - make reservations NOW - if you can get them?? Highway 1A (Bow River Parkway) is by far the most scenic way (and the best chances to see wildlife) between Banff and lake Louise. Oh well - that leaves less traffic for those of us who use it!!
