If entering West Wash from the South, find Interstate "5"... head north... If you want a scenic but winding 2 lane road, at Olympia, turn west and head towards the Pacific Ocean... about 10 miles, take the Shelton exit,, then follow the sign to Port Angeles.... or continue on I-5 to Tacoma and take the Hwy 16 exit to Gig Harbor/ Bremerton. Happy traveling... 2500 plus miles.... I know as my son lives in Fayetteville...Re: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?Have you thought of a small pantry or thin pull out shelving to store can goods... I know it is a PIA to try an find a can stuffed in a drawer with other cans (soup, can vegs, etc)...Re: Brake problemI doubt if they took the brake pads out.... most likely "eye balled" the pads... I had this happen to me several years ago... I pulled into a camp ground with a older MH and had a brake pedal problem... I discovered one of my front wheels was hot, after cooling, the brake pedal worked great. No problems with my return trip home. .... next outing, after traveling about 5 miles in town traffic and using my brakes several times, the pedal went to the floor... the wheel was hot... took MH to brake shop and discovered caliper was not releasing all the way and was dragging the disc pad on the disk..overheated the caliper & brake fluid.... changed out the calipers and no other problems... Just giving you my expereience...Re: Brake problemdid you check the wheels (not tires) for heat... was the wheel hot (front wheel)... a caliper might have hung up, dragging on the disk and over heating the brake fluid causing a brake failure.... with the brake pedal going to or near the floor when applied... returns to normal when cooled off...serious proplem if not addressed...Re: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild? Thanks for your views and ideas... I've been following you for several months and enjoy you approach to solving problems.... makes me re-think a couple of my own projects with a different approach.. Thanks again for the daily up dates...Re: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?Hope that the PT heater works with the rear lip open.Re: Water heaterThe electric element removal socket can be found at Lowe's for under $10... designed for removing the element...Re: Curious....anyone buy a motorhome in their 70'sAt 72, bought 30 ft "A", first trip 8,000 miles and 10 weeks from Washington ST. to Florida and back... great trip, great company (wife) and enjoyed the freedom of no schedules...
