It is generally full, so reservations are a must. It is not a "resort", some sites are close - others a bit more spacious, wooded but some open enough for sat - full hookups in good working orderRe: plaese help Im at alost wont start againYup, that price is about right. I broke down last spring, keypad went blank, engine shut down - in the middle of an intersection!!! Towed to local truck repair center, same result as you - $2200 + $250 program - plus labor - all in all close to $4k. I am a fulltimer, lots of miles since the breakdown, all trouble free.Re: WEATHER ALERT RADIO fredbon wrote: Google store has the Android App "Weather Pro", you have a full list of alert notifications, plus a map indicating the alerts. The App follows you eliminating the need to keep updating locations. Fred 2x. I am a fulltimer, I have used this app for the past 3 yrs. It is the best app I ever pd for!!! You can choose the weather events for alerts, and at what level for that alert. Great piece of mind for any rv'eR with a smartphone.Re: First Timer To YellowstoneOP, 30 days is better than nothing for sure. Yellowstone is huge, glad you're taking your toad. There is excellent camping in West Yellowstone, particularly if you want full hookups. Make time for the Grand Tetons, ColterBay RV is in the park, big rig friendly and fhups. If you stick to interstates, the grades aren't bad, and since your time is limited, probably the quickest. You might want to purchase the Mountain Directory West for more detailed route information. Have a great trip from a Jersey flatlander - who's been west many times and survived the big hills!!!Re: loud "thunk" retracting the slide mtrumpet wrote: klm wrote: Op here. In my total lack of know how, I think that rod is somehow the source of my "thunk". I base that on the location of the thunk, I could not only hear it but felt it through the floor. I will have the Newmar service center in Florida check it thoroughly. They have worked on my coach from the very beginning. I am hoping the slide operates ok until then. When you take it in to have them look at it, let us know what they have to say about it. I'm curious. OP here. Posted findings in my original post, finally got to Newmar todayRe: loud "thunk" retracting the slideupdate in original post.RV parks that don't post ratesI use the campground's web site to gather information when researching all travel. I compare all the campgrounds in the general vicinity of our planned trip; location, amenities, and rates, etc. I have found several corporate type campgrounds/resorts don't list their rates. You have to fill in a reservation request to see the rates. What a pain, so much so, we just cross that cg off the list. The suits and ties that design the web page are doing the potential customer a big disservice by not posting rates in an upfront, easily viewed manner. There's plenty of cgs that do, and they are the ones that will get my business. Have you come across this? And does it effect your decision on choosing a campground? Just curiousRe: Balking Brake BuddyI agree with the posters that suggest installing the bb 12v power kit. Another thing to check is the car battery. My bb was acting up, it turned out the car battery (which started the car ok) was weak, once a new battery was installed no problem with the bb. Now fast forward 7 yrs - my bb classic needed repairs, so I sent it in - I talked to a bb tec - and decided to replace the unit with the newer bb vantage. They offer a great deal, about 1/2 price compared to retail - I am a fulltimer, my bb get a lot of use and a new unit (with a 3 yr warranty) is peace of mind.Re: stress fractureI'd get my ooach out of camping world in a heartbeat and make the 2 day drive to the dealer!!!!!! Tehn I would camp out there until I have a resolution and repair done. You have a lot of your hard earned money invested in this unit, do whatever YOU have to do to get this issue addressed. Just my opinion, but CW is not answer.
