As suggested by Lynmor above, I did a permanent repair by ordering a replacement tub online for something like $100 and replaced the old tub, taking care to supporting it well from below. Good luck!Re: Is this hitch worn out?I agree that the amount of wear shown would not be a factory in the tail of the tow vehicle sagging. Just my opinion, but I don't see the truck springs as a critical part of this discussion, at least as the combinations sits at rest. Moving the chains back to 5 or 6 links to allow for adjustment, adjusting the hitch height by changing the head angle and/or moving to a different hole on the shank and the pull up chains will level out the truck. That being said, weaker springs may allow for more bounce on rough roads.Re: Where to stayAfter checking this forum for input on the best DC area campground, we stayed at Cherry Hill for a week right after the 4th and couldn't have been more pleased with the location and outstanding facilities and services. Thanks to all for the great input! One word of advice, be ware of street parking in downtown Washington. The meters are not reliable and instructions poor. A malfunctioning meter may cost me $100 if I lose my appeal. Happy traveling!Re: What RV magazines do you read? Thanks for your feedback! Agree that this forum and other online resources provide a lot of outstanding input. Safe and happy travels! What RV magazines do you read?My Dad is a very happy Roadtek owner and they travel throughout North America 2-3 times a year. What magazines would you recommend as Cleass B owners? Thanks!
