Air bags are in my future. Set up at the camp site. Re: 50a, not sure why i have it.From what I've read I'm not missing anything with the compressor unit and since the were not mounted i agree they would have been removed. I think I'd prefer to have a second ac in garage since the bedroom is quit small in comparison and the main ac has good flow up there. Time will tell.Re: What did you do to your Toy Hauler today???Getting ready for the weekend trip (maden voyage for trailer and first time towing heavy with new truck, cant wait!). We pulled the tv that came in it and removed the shelves next to original and installed a 42" flatscreen. We bought it last fall and modding has now officially begun. Before After The hdtv came from our old trailer it was a few inches too wide to fit.Re: 50a, not sure why i have it. And only the 5th Wheel came prewired with the second AC. Thank you for the link to brochure. I saw it said pressure washer and air compressor included On every unit... i havnt found that yet. Would it be possible to add a 2nd ac even tho no prepped for it or is roof not strong enough.Re: 50a, not sure why i have it. But mine is prewired for washer, dryer and second AC. I guess it's better to have 50A and only need 30 instead of 30Amp and need 50 with some add on items. It may be wired for 2nd a/c. Do you hsve a breaker installed for it or just the wire pre run? W/D hookup was optional but there aren't any hookups. I guess the wires could be there but they arent hooked to anything.50a, not sure why i have it.I recently bought a 2007 Raptor 3110 tt. I was happy to see it has a 50a service panel on it. Upon closer inpection i can't figure why keystone bothered. Here's why i say that. It has only 1 air conditioner and no w/d prep. But what gets me the most is everything foward of the garage seperation wall is on 1 15a gfci circuit, including the outside recp. That's 7 recp and a 110v light. The garage has 2 recp on its own circuit which is nice. Even the microwave and fridge share a circuit (last trailer was seperate). There are several unused circuit in the box. My last trailer was a 27ft non th tt and wired almost the same way with the exception of the garage and dedicated converter circuit but was 30a. The dealer i bought it from said its not preped for a 2nd a/c but this dealer is not a raptor dealer so maybe they are wrong and it is. Is there something im missing? I realize i have ALOT more power available (12000w vs 3600) i just feel my trailer fails to take advantage of it. I plan to add a circuit to the front storage compartment and eventually break up the circuits (hoping wires run in through the enclosed underbelly or this will be difficult) and add an recp or 2 to the slide out for phones and laptop since there aren't an on that side of the living room. So when i add these the 50a panel will be nice i just dont understand why keystone put a 50a panel in and wired the rest of the trailer likes its a 30a.Re: 2011 Ford Super duty 6.2 3.73 tow 10k+? alexleblanc wrote: Great looking truck, I'm jealous of the cap too, I need to look into one of those! I test drove a few 6.2's and found they had all kinds of power with the 3.73's, I think you'll be plenty happy with it. Thanks. I really like the high top caps. Its amazing how much room it gives you inside and it stays secured and dry. It also wout help my old truck stay in high gear a little easier when pulling my enclosed trailer. Doesn't effect towing mpgs up or down but I think I lost a few on the highway. Empty with my old truck. (5.4). Right now I have a tonnoae cover on it until it gets paint.Re: 2011 Ford Super duty 6.2 3.73 tow 10k+? MFL wrote: Congrats on the new truck!! That is a nice color combo (not inc green), and with the low miles, it is just broke in. At least with the 2-wheel drive, you could switch the gears, if needed, but don't think you'll feel the need. Happy hauling, Jerry Thanks. I like the 2 tones as well. I will paint the cab maroon (ford calls it royal red metallic) but its far to cold since my garage isnt heated. So far 3.73 rear has surpriced me. Empty it will cruise around just off 1k rpm and does fine. It seems to have good torque at most rpm. Time will tell when I get some seat time with a trailer. Anyone know if there is a break in period? I read somewhere you shouldn't tow heavy until it has 5k miles on it but im not sure if it was even for a ford. I couldnt find anything in the owners manual.Re: 2011 Ford Super duty 6.2 3.73 tow 10k+?I want to thank everyone for their valuable input. I am now the proud owner of a 2011 f250 lariat. Its 2wd, im on the fense on that but with less than 4k miles nearly loaded i paid $5k less the a similarly equipped 4wd with 22k miles and a few less options namely heated and cooled seats. I bought it yesterday so i have not towed with it yet. My initial impression is it feels more powerful the my 5.4 4.10 with the 5star 93 tune. The new one is stock tune 3.73 gears. Ignore the green cap, thats coming off to be repainted in the spring to match. I dont have any other pics yet. ( see sig) I am usually about 9000 fully loaded, I do sometimes add 2 atv's to the bed adding about 700 pounds. I always lock out 6th and run in manual, it runs great in that mode. It really does not like 6th gear with that much weight and will keep shifting if you keep in tow / haul mode. Even in my 4 hour trip out of Florida from tampa, 6th gear is rarely used... Still runs better in 5th. It sounds like the manual mode is one of the best features of the 6r140. I like the color combo of your truck BTW.
