Rinse with garden hose. Works great.Re: Battery box filling up with water.Had the same problem. I also had a boat and the battery box in a boat is usually stored where rain will not fall on top of it. Just drill a couple of holes and the water will drain out.Re: Battery box filling up with water. Lynnmor wrote: Years ago there were two types of boxes, the ones with top vents and closed bottoms were for marine use. The opposite type was for outdoor use such as RV’s. Since the end users didn’t have a clue, the correct boxes ceased production. Drill drain holes where they are away from the frame and seal the vent holes. Re: Towing SpeedsThe 55mph restriction in CA is based on stopping distance.Re: Awning cleaner questionTilex Mold and Mildew. Sounds crazy but works great. Spray it on, roll it up. Let sit for five or ten minutes and then open the awning. Spray with clean water and let dry. May need to wipe down some stubborn areas but it works great.Re: traveling with doggieTake the dog. Kind of treat as you would a toddler. We keep our Chi inside the trailer and in a portable kennel when outside.Re: Awning Cleaning???I use Tilex mold and mildew cleaner. Spray it on the underside of the awning and then wipe around with a soft wet mop. I then roll the awning up and let it sit for ten minutes, roll it out and rinse with clean water. This will remove around 90 percent of the dirt and mold. Repeat as necessary and allow to dry.Re: Power tongue jack measurementsI also have the Husky Brute 4500 jack. Excellent jack and very happy with it. I do not know if it is better or worse than other jacks and quite frankly they all seem to be built the same to some degree. I just measured its height with a tape measure from the top of the tow frame where it is mounted and it looks like 22" high to the top of the jack. Add 1/4" for the round rubber cover that provides access for the manual crank or leveling bubble.Re: Need propane tank cover recommendationI have the same cover. I use a couple of 5-inch bungee cords that fit to a tab on the bottom of the cover to secure it to the frame and tanks.Re: Bed lid advise pleaseI did the same thing with gas struts. Works fine with just one hand.
