The frame rusted enough after one year so that when I prepped it for restoration, there were a number of areas where thin layers of metal peeled away. That was year one. Six months later the springs on the slide side failed and the tires were rubbing on the underside of the wheel well when traveling. Forest River acted real interested, but they never did anything. The gutter on the curb side had a persistent leak, and I had two screws pop up on the roof. The rest of it was great, but that was enough to make me vote with my feet. I traded it out immediately after I replaced the springs. Was the frame exposed to salt (coast or snow areas)? Can’t say about delivery from the factory, but not while I owned it.Re: Coachmen Freedom Express Travel TrailersI had a 2017 279RLDS Liberty Edition for 2 years. This is also true for the bed camera. This is new. My 2018 does not allow this.Re: Generator experience Honda EU2000i&EU2000ic vs. EU3000is ScottG wrote: If I could do it over again, I would get the newest Yamaha 2400 gen. rather than the eu2000i. It provides just that little extra bit of power that I often could use. And, it start my buddies 13.5K AC at, or just above idle and stays there. One more thing....Yamaha generators have a valve to shut off the fuel supply so you can run the gas out of the carb during storage. Honda generators do not. Fuel is shut off when you turn off the Honda generator but Yamaha generators have a separate control for fuel and run/stop.
